Cinergee

Cinergee Join us on a journey to unwind, restore balance, and nurture your mind, body, and spirit. In our fast, stressful lives we lose touch with who we are.

Our holistic approach spans from gut health to radiant skin, guaranteeing a comprehensive wellness journey. We run pillar to post working two or three jobs (in some cases), we manage the household and everything that comes with a family, we study to better ourselves, give a helping hand with community organisations, friends and family......we give so much of our essence that we just have NO TIME for ourselves. This leaves us depleted, lacking vitality, depressed and overwhelmed. To stay this way for too long our health becomes challenged and we start to look for a change. Cinergee is that change.....everything we do is to help you reconnect with your inner Goddess and find inner peace

My ducks are absolutely not in a row.
I don’t even know where some of them are… and I’m fairly certain one of them is a pigeon.

And that’s okay.

Life isn’t linear. It’s messy, unpredictable, and constantly evolving. Growth rarely happens when everything is neat and orderly — it happens in uncertainty, challenge, and recalibration.

I don’t always get to where I plan to go. Weather changes. Obstacles appear. The bush becomes thick and impassable. And that’s okay too. The mountain is always there for another day, another time.

Not reaching the destination doesn’t mean the journey was wasted. Sometimes the lesson is knowing when to pause, adjust, or turn back with respect — for yourself and for the environment around you.

Progress doesn’t require perfection. It requires presence, adaptability, and the willingness to keep moving forward, even when the path changes.

Lymphatic Friday!

The lymphatic and glymphatic systems sit at the intersection of:

💧Immunity

💧Neurology

💧Inflammation

💧Detoxification

💧Ageing

Supporting them effectively requires nervous system regulation first, mechanical support second. I will unpack this in a little more detail over the coming weeks

Wellness Wednesday Insight into Frequency Analysis Scans

Digestion Is Often Down-Regulated — Not “Broken”

Many scans reveal digestive systems that are under-powered rather than dysfunctional.

Common findings include:

🥑 Reduced digestive energy

🥑 Sluggish enzymatic activity

🥑 Poor gut-brain signalling

This pattern often coexists with stress and sympathetic dominance.

Why this matters:
When digestion is down-regulated:

😕 Nutrient absorption drops

😕 Gut repair slows

😕 Food sensitivities increase

😕 Clients feel bloated, reactive, or fatigued despite “good” diets

Digestive support must address nervous system tone and metabolic energy, not just food elimination. Detox is not always the best way with a depleted system.

Mobility Tuesday

Mobility Is a Nervous System Skill

Mobility is not just mechanical—it is neuro-regulated.

When the nervous system perceives threat (stress, overload, fatigue, trauma):

😲 Muscles tighten

😲 Joints restrict

😲 Movement becomes guarded

This is why stretching and rolling alone often fails.

Effective mobility:

👍 Improves vagal tone

👍 Reduces sympathetic dominance

👍 Restores smooth, coordinated movement

To improve mobility long-term, the nervous system must feel safe first.
Slow, controlled, intentional movement changes the signal—not just the tissue.

Mobility is not about doing more—it’s about moving better.
Train your joints, calm your nervous system, and your body will keep showing up for you.

Mondays are all about Skin!!!

The corneotherapy angle

Hormonal skin isn’t “wrong” — it’s adapting.
So we don’t over-strip, force peel, or chase fast results. No injections, harsh chemicals, or going against biology....

We ask:
• What is the barrier doing?
• Is inflammation primary or secondary?
• What systems are involved (stress, gut, lymph)?
• What does this stage of life require right now?
~ What hormones are the most active?

Corneotherapy principle:
stabilise first → correct second → strengthen always.

What support looks like
Topical support
• lipid-correct moisturisers (ceramides + cholesterol + fatty acids)
• calmers (panthenol, beta-glucan, niacinamide in barrier-safe doses)
• pigment modulators if needed (gentle brighteners, not stripping acids)
• pH-respecting cleansing
Treatment support
• LED to regulate inflammation + speed repair
• Microcurrent for circulation + muscle tone + vitality
• Microneedling for collagen and texture only when barrier is ready
• Facial massage + Gua Sha to support lymph + nervous system tone
Lifestyle support
• omega fats + protein for collagen
• antioxidants for inflammation control
• stress/sleep regulation (huge in hormonal skin)

You may have noticed a shift in what I share here.

As a solo therapist, I no longer need to use this space to attract new clients in the traditional way — the beautiful imagery of what you can expect at Cinergee is a given. You will always experience exceptional skin health treatments, body therapies, spa experiences, and health consultations delivered with the attentiveness and somatic care you are used to.

At present, I am booked several months in advance, with many regular clients securing appointments 6–12 months ahead — so please keep this in mind when planning your visits.

What I have always loved is educating. Supporting people to understand their bodies, skin, nervous systems, and long-term wellbeing is at the heart of what I do.

As a clinical nutritionist, musculo-skeletal therapist, corneotherapist and advanced skin therapist, Master NLP practitioner and hypnotherapist — and soon-to-be oncology bodyworker — I don’t see people as just skin or just muscle tension. When you walk into my treatment room, I’m assessing the whole picture, working holistically to understand root causes rather than isolated symptoms.

What you’ll now see more of here are the areas I focus on most:
skin health, mobility, lymphatic support, nervous system regulation, mental wellbeing — and yes, my bushwalking reflections too.

So if you’re wondering where the glossy spa photos have gone…
this is simply more me.

Out with the fluff on social media.
In with real, holistic therapy.

(You still get the fluff - all those little extras - in the treatment room.)

Far too many people have no idea what they are capable of, because they have spent years being told what they can’t do. When limits are repeated often enough, they become beliefs — and eventually, people stop seeing what is possible. They don’t know what they want, because they’ve never been shown what’s available to them.
— Zig Ziglar

Progress begins when you question those limits. Growth doesn’t require knowing the entire path — it starts with one small step outside the box you’ve been placed in. Curiosity, not confidence, is often the real catalyst for change.

Challenge the story you’ve been told. Explore what feels unfamiliar. Allow yourself to imagine more — not recklessly, but intentionally. That’s where momentum builds, perspective shifts, and real capability begins to reveal itself.

Lymphatic Friday!

Mechanical movement alone is not enough

While movement, rebounders, and manual lymphatic techniques are valuable, research shows that lymphatic vessels themselves respond to neurochemical signals.

This means:

You can move the body, but if the nervous system remains hyper-vigilant, lymphatic efficiency remains compromised. A Frequency Analysis Scan will let you know how regulated or dysregulated your nervous system is so we can work out where you need to go and what is the best course of action to take.

Therapies that down-regulate the nervous system (breathwork, vagal stimulation, gentle compression, cranial or fascial work) can significantly enhance lymphatic flow without aggressive force.

This reframes lymphatic care as a neuro-immune therapy, not just a circulatory one.

Wellness Wednesday Insight from Frequency Analysis Scans

Lymphatic Congestion Is a Common Hidden Stressor

Another strong pattern emerging from scans is lymphatic stagnation — even in people who eat well, exercise, and “do all the right things.”

The lymphatic system often shows:

👇 Reduced flow

👇 Poor drainage efficiency

👆 Accumulated metabolic and inflammatory load

Because the lymphatic system has no pump of its own, it is highly sensitive to stress, dehydration, inflammation, and nervous system tone.

Why this matters:
If lymph isn’t moving:

☹️ Inflammation lingers

☹️ Hormonal by-products recirculate

☹️ Immune load increases

☹️ Skin, joints, and tissues struggle to clear waste

Supporting lymphatic flow is essential for reducing inflammation and improving overall resilience.
At Cinergee this is our specialty 😍 👏

Mobility Tuesday

Why Mobility Declines With Age (Unless You Train It)

From our 30s onward, the body naturally experiences:

🙁 Reduced joint hydration

☹️ Decline in muscle elasticity

☹️ Slower neural firing

☹️ Increased connective tissue stiffness

If mobility is not trained, the brain begins to down-regulate movement it no longer trusts.

This is why people often say:
“I used to be able to do that… I don’t know what happened.”

Nothing ‘happened’.
The nervous system simply stopped granting access.

Mobility training keeps joints nourished, the nervous system confident, and movement patterns available.

Use it or lose it—literally.
