A Heartfelt Update from Cinergee
After over two decades of heartfelt care, healing, and connection at Tamar Street and our current George Street location, it is with deep sadness that I share this news: Cinergee will be closing its doors in its current form from Saturday 2nd August, 2025 .

This decision has not come lightly. We are currently four therapists short of a full team, and despite all efforts to recruit experienced and qualified staff, continuing operations would compromise the standard of care you have come to know and trust. Rather than let that happen, I have chosen to pause—reassess—and begin the process of evolving Cinergee into something new.

This Is Not Goodbye
Cinergee will return—transformed. Not sure how that will look at this stage but this reimagined version of Cinergee will carry forward the same passion, experience, and commitment to wellbeing that has been our foundation from the beginning.

During this transition:

Prepaid bookings will absolutely be honoured, though they may be postponed slightly – the same with vouchers.

I will not be accepting new clients for the foreseeable future, in order to give full attention to the 7000+ loyal clients already in our care.

Beauty services will no longer be offered in the new imagined space, but I warmly recommend:

If you’re a wellness or beauty business looking for qualified, compassionate staff, please reach out to me directly. I’ll be sharing opportunities with my incredible team members, and helping them find the right next step in their careers. Alternatively, if you are in the wellness space i.e., naturopath, massage, nutrition, etc and looking for an amazing space – another thing I am tossing around is to stay here as a solo operator and rent each room out to like-minded wellness professionals. I am open to options at this stage. Whatever happens, I will keep you all informed.

I kindly ask for a little space and grace as this transition unfolds. There is a lot to organise—both emotionally and practically—including the sale of equipment and the redesign of perhaps a new environment elsewhere or reimagined wellness hub here in George Street. I really aoplogise to those booked after the 2nd of August – I have clients booked all the way through to January, but I will be back – just how that will unfold I am not sure yet.

Huge thanks to the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania for putting on yet another fantastic conference! I could only make it to Day 1 this year, but I’m sure Day 2 was just as inspiring. The talks on AI, attracting amazing team members, and crafting better stories were such timely insights for running a small business today.

The Silos was the perfect venue — so many well-sized spaces for the different break-out sessions.
