Parents living in Tasmania with a baby or toddler can now access the expertise of Tresillian nurses by calling the Tresillian Parent’s Help Line.

Well, we were pipped to the (parking) post by a trusty Anonymous poster on Chit Chat - Launceston Tasmania Official 😅 🤣

… but we can now officially confirm that YES, we’ve invested in a boom gate with numberplate recognition technology to ensure our patients and visitors continue to enjoy FREE and ACCESSIBLE parking here at the Health Hub!

✅ Parking remains FREE for patients and visitors
⏱ In the rare case your visit is longer than 2 hours, our team can provide a validation so you can leave without paying
🚫 This change is designed to deter general public use and keep spaces available for those who need them most.

We’re also proud to share that we now have 110 carparks available.

And in just a few weeks, we’ll be opening an additional 10 short-term drop-off carparks off Wellington Street for even easier access!

Kia Ora! We’re pleased to welcome Dr James Pankhurst to the team at Launceston Skin Cancer Clinic.

Dr James is a GP registrar currently completing his extended skills in Skin Cancer Medicine. With six years of hospital experience at the Launceston General Hospital and two years as a GP, he has a special interest in skin checks and minor procedures.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) can cause serious illness in babies - especially those under 8 months. The good news? Eligible patients can now access free RSV protection under the National Immunisation Program.

✔️ Infants under 8 months
✔️ Pregnant women at 28–36 weeks gestation

The vaccine is free, and children 11 and under are bulk billed at our clinic. A consultation fee may apply for others. Eligibility will be confirmed at your appointment.
