At The Yoga Loft Launceston we offer a range of yoga styles located in our beautiful studio in the centre of town. Our space is heated to a comfortable 27 degrees using a Natural Infared - Radiant Heating System which is a healthy and safe therapy for you body. The natural heat penetrates and warms your muscles creating greater flexibility while flushing toxins from your body and improving the efficiency of your immune system. EMBODIED BREATH + RESET 🌕 is back, this time the Full Moon Edition. ⁠

…and it’s going to be so much better.

Over the next week, the studio will be transitioning to Momence as our scheduling platform and booking app.

No need to do anything yet—just be aware that some instructions via email will be coming soon. (Of course we will be there in studio to help with the transition as well.)

We promise, it’s for the greater good.

Momence will allow for easy peasy, non glitchy booking of classes + workshops, and will streamline things like booking a class for another person, bringing a friend to yoga, purchasing gift cards, using promo codes, payment plans + more.

We’ve added an offering specifically for those curious about beginning yoga, ready to re-connect to their practice, or anyone simply keen to move slowly and intentionally through the basics.

YOGA FUNDAMENTALS — every Wednesday, 4-5pm.

These practices are designed to be accessible, gentle, and welcoming—a safe space to reconnect to self.

Every Sunday, 6-7.30pm.

This 90 minute class will move through the traditional Bikram sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, practiced in a heated room.

This sequence is designed to systematically work every part of the body—muscles, joints, organs, and glands—while developing strength, flexibility, balance, and mental focus.

The structure and repetition of the practice create a moving meditation, offering a chance to tune inwards, quiet the mind, and connect with the breath.

Each posture builds on the one before, encouraging steady effort, stillness, and deep presence.

Whether you’re new to the practice or returning, 26+2 classes offers a consistent space to observe yourself, meet your edges, and begin again.

Our 6 week Prenatal Yoga Course offers a nurturing time for self-exploration and connection, focusing on building trust and confidence in yourself, your body and your
baby as you journey through pregnancy, labour and birth.

Practice alongside a supportive community of pregnant women with classes that include gentle yoga movement, breathing techniques, pelvic floor exercises, meditation and mindfulness, all specifically tailored and safe for pregnancy.

Classes are themed each week to support your awareness and connection to the full
spectrum of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual being.

Shift from the mind into the body with this course led by Samie Joy ( ) a qualified Prenatal and Postnatal yoga teacher and mumma, who has just birthed her second baby this year.

- No previous yoga experience necessary.
- Available to expecting mums between 14 weeks to full term of pregnancy.
- High risk pregnancies require obstetrician approval.
- Course includes an electronic ‘Resource Guide’ and Prenatal Facebook Group to
stay connected.

✨ Mums + Bubs Yoga ✨

After birthing your baby (and yourself as a mum) it can be challenging to find time for self-care. Our mums and bubs course is a space to gather with other new mums and fill your cup, prioritising time to connect with yourself and to deepen your bond with your baby through play and baby massage.

Each class is a chance to nurture yourself physically with a practice that includes gentle yoga to slowly regain strength in your body, core and pelvic floor, breathwork, mindfulness and meditation.

**This class is suitable for mums who are at least 6 weeks postpartum
(8 weeks cesarian or complicated birth) and for babies who are pre-crawling.

The class is a safe space for mums to feed, change, rock and care for their babies and to show up exactly as they are with full acceptance of the messy mum-bun and sleep deprivation!

Yoga Loft have a diverse group of instructors including health professionals, body workers, Pilates teachers, physiotherapists and mental health specialists. Each instructor has a unique approach in style, form and philosophy so make sure you try out the different styles and teachers we have on offer. Our $40 introductory pass, which enables unlimited access to classes for 30 days, is a great way to begin your yoga journey with us!
