Jane Oakley-Lohm is an Australian writer who has passion for nature and animals and believes there is a lot we can learn from these two areas. She is known for her work in counselling and training for grief and loss and psychological abuse /bullying and in now providing this knowledge through children's books and on line training for adults. A number of years ago Jane lived in Central Australia. She was based in Alice Springs and a remote location working a variety of roles for 30 years. During this time she worked with diverse groups of people. Her work involved devising and implementing strategies to meet the needs of these people. It became obvious that for many people coping with various forms of grief was a major issue, this reflected on the well-being of all in the region.
