We are looking for a trainee Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.

Position will be based in Crystal Brook, but some time will be spent in the Gladstone and Laura stores.

This position is a full time position. Training provided will be a Cert III in Community Pharmacy- over two years, with the option of progressing to a Cert IV and long-term employment.

In this role, you will support the pharmacy team by providing a great customer experience for each of our customers, by providing advice and ensuring they receive exceptional service.

Drivers Licence Essential.

The role will focus on:
• Actively assisting customers by providing service and product information
• Receiving and handing out prescription medication
• Assisting with processing prescriptions
• Having an eye for detail and accuracy
• Organising and maintaining the cleanliness of the store
• Refilling stock and creating displays as required
• Efficient register service

We are looking for someone who is:
• Positive and customer focused
• Passionate about healthcare
• A great communicator
• Detail oriented
• Willing to learn about pharmacy and develop a high level of product knowledge

Tomorrow 11th September is World Su***de Prevention Day - Let’s keep talking, listening, and showing up for each other - today and every day.

A reminder of the power of connection, compassion, and conversation can make to someone’s life.

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

It’s a day to honour the memories of those we’ve lost to su***de and to offer support to those facing difficult times and those living with the grief of losing someone.

The message of ‘Changing the Narrative on Su***de’ encourages us to change how we talk about su***de. To replace silence and stigma for empathy, compassion and action.

We all have a role to play in staying connected, showing up for those we care about and helping those struggling access the support they need.

Show the people around you that you’re there for them by asking 'are you OK?'. Because a conversation could change a life.
