Towards the end of last year, Monitor City had the pleasure of delivering audio production for King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne.

It was fantastic to see our PA out in the field doing what it does best. The VGt was breathtaking as always and truly proved its worth. The entire system sounded exceptional, and we can’t wait to see where it goes next.
This was an incredible gig to be a part of.

Throwback to a few weeks ago — we had the pleasure of assisting with the incredible St Kilda Festival.

From St Kilda Town Hall to the St Kilda Palais to the Melbourne Market, we were blown away by everyone involved and by what can be created with brilliant minds and production skills.

Congratulations to the City of Port Phillip on hosting such a fantastic and exciting festival. The St Kilda Film Festival is a yearly highlight that many people look forward to. Thank you for getting us involved and allowing us to be a part of it.

Some exciting news we haven't announced yet is that we now own a DiGiCo Quantum 338! It has had its first gig at Port Fairy Folk Festival just the other week and it has been brilliant so far. Sleek, beautiful and powerful.

As the dust is finally settling for the Port Fairy Folk Festival 2025, we would love to thank everyones hard work and determination to make the festival bigger and better than all of the previous years. The festival had a lot of new changes happen on site this year, but by the sound of it, everyone loved it and cannot wait for next one.

Thank you to all of our Monitor City crew that worked extremely hard over the long weekend. We appreciated the early morning yoga crew, to the late night Wam Bam Caravan crew, as well as everyone in between. We cannot wait for next year! See you all for 2026! 😁🎉🎸🔊

A few weeks ago, we had the honours to once again, assisted Victorian Opera in a performance at the Palais Theatre in St Kilda. The show, Follies, finished on the 6th of February after receiving at cluster of 5 start reviews and fantastic feedback from all patrons that attended. Australian Book Review wrote “Victorian Opera has produced a consistently engaging and thoughtful production of a significant piece of modern theatre". We completely agree and we cannot wait to see more productions.

Daniel O'Callaghan, one of our brilliant engineers, has been working hard along side Victorian Opera to design, deliver and deploy a beautify sleek audio package. A big shout out goes to him!

Thank you to our crew that assisted in the rest of the production including bump in and out. It can not be done without the extra hands.
