From 1/11/25, you may hear about GPs "returning to bulk billing." This doesn't yet apply for all appointments at our clinics.

Why? The government's bulk billing rules come with restrictions that would raise our costs and reduce the quality of care; shorter appointments, less time to listen, rushed visits and increased out-of-pocket costs for items Medicare doesn't cover such as iron infusions and dressings.

Please note that we'll continue to bulk bill pension/healthcare card holders and children under 16. Mixed billing may apply to others and is at the discretion of each doctor.

We're working toward joining the scheme safely and will update you within 3 months. In the meantime, help us push for better patient support by asking your local MP to raise the Medicare rebate.
