You are invited to embody your innate curiosity, courage & creativity in self expression that reclaims selfdom and re-wilds. Art therapy is using art materials to explore feelings, thoughts and experiences that may be difficult to verbalise. An art therapy process may be something as simple as a squiggle drawn onto paper or a thumbprint pressed into clay.

Tuesday art group is a great way to learn how to use art making for mental health, self expression and strengthening self connection.
All are welcome including NDIS participants.

What is emotional contagion?

Emotional contagion works like a ripple effect. It is the phenomenon where one person's emotions and related behaviors can quickly spread to and affect another person. This can occur consciously or unconsciously and can happen in mere milliseconds.

An example: Ben wakes up cranky. His mum knows about emotional contagion, so puts on a cheery smile and voice and slowly Ben's mood changes.
