You and your family are invited to a FREE and fun type 1 diabetes (T1D) meetup at Sweeney’s Reserve on Sunday 22 June!
Enjoy face painting, giant yard games, kids’ entertainment, raffles and a complimentary sausage sizzle. A fun morning to meet other families, hosted by Moreton Bay T1D Walk Host, Natasha Walsh, and Breakthrough T1D Australia staff.

Event details:

🕕 Time: 10:00AM - 1:00PM

Walk for a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at the world’s biggest fundraising event for T1D research.

Each year, around 1 million people around the globe raise over $85 million for life changing T1D research at JDRF’s One Walk. Join in the fun at our Brisbane and Moreton Bay event! Here’s what you need to know:

📅 Date: Sunday 16 March 2025
⏰ Time: 8:30 am (walk start at 9:30am)
📍 Location: Victoria Park - 309 Herston Rd, Herston, Qld, 4006

Extra event details -
🚶‍♂️ One Walk Distance: 3km and all accessible track is 2.4km
🌭 Food Availabilities: Logan Rotary BBQ (Sausage sizzle and egg and bacon rolls), Peaker Boo Coffee Van and Snowy Joeys Snow Cones
🎨 Activities & Entertainment: Face Painting, Kids arts and Craft, Crazy Hair, Magic Pete, Base Zero Climbing Wall, Several Music Artists and a Raffle.
