Child Sense

Child Sense offers therapy services in the Inner West of Sydney for children and teens aged 0-18

Child Sense provides services for children and teens with a range of challenges including sensory processing differences, coordination challenges, emotional dysregulation, behavioural difficulties, developmental delay, specific learning difficulties, difficulties with play, complex needs, social difficulties, handwriting and fine motor concerns. Child Sense aims to create an enjoyable and safe environment for children and their families. Therapy is individualised and programmes maintain a high standard in order to facilitate improved function and maximise the potential for every child we work with. A range of services are offered by our team of therapists and include:
* Comprehensive assessments
* Intervention in the school, home or clinic environments
* Individual or group sessions
* Preschool or school screenings
* Setting up and directing services in schools
* Workshops and training for parents and professionals

In our ninja warrior group, kids worked together to plan, build, and problem-solve as they constructed a fort—then practiced motor control, coordination, and regulation as they used beanbags to knock it down! 🎯

This activity was all about collaboration, sequencing, and managing big movements in a playful, goal-directed way. 🌟

Our Time Detectives group is for curious kids aged 7–9 who love solving mysteries while building teamwork, flexible thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. 🧩✨

Together, children journey through different eras completing hands-on challenges designed to build the foundations for classroom confidence, friendships, and executive functioning. 🧠🤝
