May 10th celebrates the birth anniversary of our Param Guru Swami Sri Yukteswar. Swami Sri Yukteswar is revered as a Jnanavatar; “Incarnation of Wisdom”.

Paramahansa Yogananda writes:

“Sri Yukteswar achieved identity with the Ruler of time and space…Each day with him was a new experience in joy, peace, and wisdom…Quietly sitting beside him, I would feel his bounty pouring peacefully over my being.

Sri Yukteswar fitted the Vedic definition of a man of God: ‘Softer than the flower, where kindness is concerned; stronger than the thunder, where principles are at stake’…His feet were firm on the earth, his head in the haven of heaven.”

SRF Sydney Centre’s May’s Services & Activities! More information below:

On Sunday 3rd, Kirtan is held in the final period of our long meditation service (10am-10:45am). It involves two periods of chanting, both followed by meditation. Sunday school is also being held as the Reading Service takes place.

On Sunday 10th, there will be a Special Service to Commemorate the Birthday of Swami Sri Yukteswar.

On Sunday 24th, there will be a social after the service. Please bring some vegetarian food to share.

SRF Sydney Centre’s April Services & Activities! More information below:

On Friday 3rd, Good Friday Meditation Service from 10am to 12pm.

On Sunday 5th, Kirtan is held in the final period of our long meditation service (10am-10:45am). It involves two periods of chanting, both followed by meditation. Sunday school is also being held as the Reading Service takes place.

On Sunday, 12 April at 11 am, we will screen Brother Chidananda’s Easter Sunday Sunrise Service that was live-streamed a week earlier in Los Angeles. This will replace the Reading Service

On Sunday 19th, there will be a social after the service. Please bring some vegetarian food to share.

On Monday 27th, The Second Coming of Christ Study Group is being held via zoom from 5pm to 7pm.
