Vivian has extensive expertise in diabetes care, as well as working at Hobart OBGYN Vivian works as a Credentialed Diabetes Educator at the Royal Hobart Hospital and Calvary Hospital.
Vivian is dedicated to integrating evidence-based practices and advanced diabetes technologies to deliver high-quality diabetes care. She focuses on empowering individuals with diabetes to achieve their health goals through comprehensive education and personalised care. Her approach combines lifestyle interventions, medication management, glucose monitoring, insulin therapy, and the latest diabetes technologies, ensuring each patient receives holistic, tailored support. Vivian is passionate about diabetes technology, holding certifications as a trainer in insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems.
As part of the Hobart OBGYN team, Vivian provides individualised care for people living with diabetes, with a particular focus on easing the transition for those newly diagnosed. She works to foster confidence and independence in her clients by creating a supportive environment that empowers them to develop the skills necessary for better diabetes self-management and long-term well-being.
