Hypnobirthing Australia has been created to suit parents birthing in Australia, at Home, Birthing Centres or Private and Public Hospitals. In my courses, I prepare mothers and their birth partners with scientific and holistic evidence based information and the necessary tools for a positive, calm and empowered pregnancy, labour and birth as well as substantial information that will have lasting effects on baby's life and their parents

Not all disappearances are loud. Some parts of us just… fade. The playful one, the spontaneous one, the one who used to believe.

Sometimes we learned to silence them, to be taken seriously, to stay safe, to avoid pain.

But those parts didn’t die. They got exiled. And now they wait. For warmth. For space. For someone to say:
“It’s safe to come back now.”

This is what healing can be: Not becoming someone new, but remembering who you were, before the world told you to shrink.

You’re not failing because the hard days still come. You’re just HUMAN, and now, maybe, a bit more equipped to be one.

Healing doesn’t erase your emotions or your protective parts. They’ll still show up from time to time, but this time,
you don’t have to shame them, silence them, or pretend they’re not there.

💭 You get to sit with them.
💭 You get to choose your next step.
💭 You get to meet your triggers with self-leadership, not self-judgement.

That’s the shift, not invincibility, but inner relationship.
Not perfection, but presence!

Brené wasn’t just talking about self-esteem. She was talking about the parts of us that still wait to be chosen. The younger parts. The ones shaped by rejection. The ones who learned to scan every room, every face, every silence, just to feel safe.

But belonging isn’t something you earn by becoming someone else. It isn’t something others can give you. Real belonging begins when you turn towards the parts of you still waiting to be accepted, by you.

Therapy is where that shift begins. Where you stop negotiating your worth, and remember it was never up for debate.

Empathy is beautiful, but without regulation, it can become overwhelming. You feel someone’s sadness and it aches like your own. You see someone suffer and your chest tightens too. You carry it all, but none of it is yours to fix.

Compassion is different. It doesn’t take you under. It lets you stay WITH someone’s pain, without becoming it.

And that’s what many of us never learned: how to hold space without merging, how to stay grounded in Self, even when others are hurting.

✨ You don’t have to take it all on to be a good friend, a good parent, a good human.

There’s another way. A gentler way. Let’s practise it, together.

We often think: “I ruined everything.”, “I was doing so well, why am I here again?”
But what if this moment… isn’t failure? Isn’t regression? Isn’t weakness?

What if a part of you is simply overwhelmed, doing what it knows to cope, and hoping someone finally notices?

In IFS, we don’t shame these parts. We listen to them. We get curious.
Because no part repeats a pattern without a reason.

Instead of asking “What’s wrong with me?”
Try asking: “What is this part trying to protect me from?”
The moment you turn inward with compassion is the moment the cycle starts to shift.

Not every reaction is “too much.” Sometimes, it’s just too old.

A trigger is often a younger part of you, still caught in the memory of what hurt. Still unsure if it’s safe now and instead of asking: “Why am I like this?”, we begin to ask:
✨ “Which part of me is trying to protect me right now?” ✨

That’s where healing begins. Not in silencing the trigger, but in listening to it differently.

If you’ve been feeling hijacked by your reactions, you’re not broken. You’re being invited back to yourself.

Maybe it WAS love. The only way they knew how to give it. Filtered through their fears. Through their past. Through their own unhealed parts.

But if love came with conditions…
If it meant shape-shifting, shrinking, performing, then some part of you may have learned: “I have to earn love to deserve it.”

That belief doesn’t come from nowhere. It comes from protection. From patterns that helped you survive, but now hold you back.

But we can honour the past and we can update it — gently.

✨ You’re allowed to receive love that doesn’t need masks, perfection or performance. You’re allowed to be YOU — and be held in that.

Your emotions aren’t random. They each carry a function. A message. A direction.

But when we override them (to please, to belong, to avoid conflict), we start betraying the very compass that keeps us safe.

Maybe you’ve felt that.

Doing what felt wrong just to keep the peace. Nodding when you wanted to scream. Smiling when something inside said no.

✨ The more you learn to listen, the less you need to abandon yourself to feel accepted.

Every emotion has a reason for being here.
And learning to name them… might be the way back home.

You’ve done so well, for so long. But lately, maybe it’s been feeling heavier. Maybe you’re not falling apart...
Maybe a part of you is just exhausted from holding everything together.

What if your pain wasn’t here to punish you, but to point you somewhere important?

So many of us carry emotional patterns that don’t make sense on the surface,
like overthinking, snapping at people we love, or pulling away when things get good.

But in IFS, we learn that those patterns are parts of us, doing their best to protect something tender.
Sometimes it’s the part that says,
“Don’t get close, you’ll get hurt again.”
Or,
“If you just stay in control, nothing will fall apart.”

These parts aren’t broken.
They’re just waiting for a little update,
to know that you’re safe now.
That you’ve grown.
That there’s a calm, kind adult inside you, ready to lead.

✨ Therapy doesn’t have to be a big, scary leap.
It can be a soft return to yourself.

In Japanese philosophy, wabi-sabi is the quiet acceptance of life’s imperfect, impermanent nature.
It reminds us: things don’t need to be whole to be beautiful.

Just like you don’t need to have it all together to be worthy of love, support, or peace.
Therapy isn’t about perfection, it’s about PRESENCE.

A space to sit with the cracks, and see what light still gets in.
