You can expect a dynamic flowing sequence of postures synchronized to your breath, leaving you feeling physically strong and mentally balanced. It has variety that I crave, allows progression and builds healthy awareness. I have worked as a Paramedic for 14 years and have found Yoga to be beneficial to my physical health and mental well-being. I first discovered Yoga when I was pregnant with my first child. I have always been very active and loved all forms of exercise. I thought I would try Yoga as it seemed like a safe practice to do whilst pregnant. I joined The Base Yoga Studio in Berwick and fell in love with what they offered. Every 60 minute class I attended, I left feeling calm in my mind and physically stronger. It was an experience to connect with my mind and body, at the same time fulfilling my inner need to be physically active. I loved the dynamic movement between poses and learning to control my breath and build mindfulness. Fast track to 5 years later, I have two beautiful little children, a wonderful husband, reside in South Gippsland and am growing grapevines. I earn a living as a Paramedic and now I am an accredited Yoga Instructor, registered with Yoga Australia. I offer a dynamic and active practice connecting movement to breath. I encourage people to go at their own pace and I offer options to modify or challenge their practice. Yoga leaves me feeling calm and physically strong and I would like to share this with my community though teaching yoga.
