Our greatest gift in this world... to live well... to do that I believe our wellbeing is key.
Wellbeing is that word so often used in the last few years. Hard to define because it is unique and it is moveable. Each moment, each day, each season means something different for us.
I have been a 'wellbeing coordinator' within the grounds of a beautiful hospice... it was a beautiful role supporting people with mindfulness, art, music and all sorts of other community collaboration... yet there has always been a deeper heart/soul calling...
A long time ago I had a vision... a conscious place to live and die well... a place 'snuck' into part of nature - mud/cob/natural reclaimed woods and materials - that was held together by community - bringing joy - love - music - animals - good food made with care - integrative care - where the very moment of living transcends to the 'dying'.
There are wise people that say if you do not fulfil your hearts desire it will go to another to be created. Because then I was not brave enough to follow on with action - the action was taken up by Dr Adethi Sethi.
So the Center for Conscious Living & Dying was created. This year they have renamed the center Emberlight.
This video is of Elizabeth who lived and died at Emberlight and her sharing of how special a place it is.
This is my dream. This is my vision. That I help create a centre like this - unique to its community - where that will be I am not quite sure yet.
So now you all know... I am putting it into the universe!
Why do I know this feels aligned - because I cry with a deep knowing that this is the right way for us all to live and die well. 💓
