Knee cave ISN’T always bad.

You’ve probably heard “don’t let your knees cave in” during squats - and yes, in some cases, excessive collapse can increase stress on your knees.

But under heavy loads, a bit of inward knee movement can actually be a mechanical advantage, as the adductor magnus becomes the primary hip extensor out of the hole.

The key is control - not collapse.

If you’re new to lifting or feel discomfort when your knees cave in, focus on building glute strength in your accessories…

Standard Grip VS Bulldog Grip

A standard stacked grip often means gripping the bar hard through the wrist and forearm, which can increase load at the elbow and flare up pain.

👉 Try a bulldog grip instead:

• Slight wrist extension
• Hands slightly internally rotated
