The Melbourne Marathon is this Sunday, time to get your body primed and ready to move well!
Here’s our go to ballistic running warm up before any long run or race:
1️⃣ A Switches – build rhythm and coordination
2️⃣ Tall to Small – transfer your power and activate your core
3️⃣ Ankling – warm up your tendons and get them ready for that elastic bounce
4️⃣ A Skip – reinforce posture and drive
5️⃣ B Skip – build rhythm, running mechanics, and get the hamstrings ready
These drills help improve efficiency, reduce injury risk, and get you feeling sharp from the start line.
Good luck to everyone running the Melbourne Marathon this weekend, we’ll be cheering you on! 💙
Give us a wave if you see our team out there! 👋
