Shingles Action Week 2026💉💚

About 10,000 to 15,000 people are diagnosed with herpes zoster or shingles in Australia every year. Up to 1 in 4 people develop complications.
Shingles itself doesn’t spread between people; it’s a reactivation of the chickenpox virus however, people who aren’t immune to chickenpox can get chickenpox from a person who has shingles.

Shingrix is a vaccination for shingles and is given as two doses 2-6 months apart.
It’s available for free on the national immunisation program for:
• People 65 years and older
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults 50 years and older
• Immunocompromised people 18 years and older with specific medical risk conditions
*exceptions may apply

We are here to spread knowledge and express our support on this battling condition like we do every year!

Today yet another Jackson is leaving us 🥹

To say it is very bittersweet is an understatement, we will miss Will immensely however we are so proud of his new chapter that is about to happen! Will is moving to Sydney to partake in university to become a Physiotherapist! 💚

Will has and always will be apart of our TWC family and we can’t wait to see all of the achievements he will succeed in!
