🌟 Get to Know Karin – Our Pain Management Occupational Therapist! 🌟

Karin helps people living with chronic pain take back control of their lives through education, movement, and mindset strategies. She teaches clients how pain works, how to pace activities, manage flare-ups, and move with confidence — all while supporting them to return to the things they love doing most. 💪

💬 Fun facts about Karin:
✨ She wouldn’t swap jobs with anyone — especially not admin! She admires how they multitask and keep everything organised.
✨ The most rewarding part of her work? Seeing people grow, improve, and live meaningful lives again.
✨ She believes everyone could benefit from an OT’s perspective — looking deeper to understand others with empathy and insight.

Karin brings compassion, knowledge, and positivity to every session — helping clients realise that pain doesn’t have to define them. 💛

🌟 Join our Fine Motor School Holiday Groups! 🌟
Commencing in December/January school Hols!

Looking for something fun and purposeful for your child these holidays? Our play-based fine motor groups, run by Occupational Therapists Tori Smith and Dannielle Andrews, are the perfect mix of learning and play!

Through hands-on activities, children will build essential skills for everyday independence and school success, including:
✋ Hand strength and coordination
✏️ Pencil grip and pre-writing skills
✂️ Scissor and cutting skills
🎒 School readiness and self-care (buttons, zips, feeding)

Each session is designed to boost confidence, independence, and readiness for the classroom — all in a fun, supportive environment! 🌈

📍 Held in Lismore and Lennox Head

🎉WELCOME TO THE PHYSIO PLUS TEAM, NIAMH🎉
Niamh recently moved to Australia from Wales in the UK✈️. She graduated from Cardiff university in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy💪🧬. Niamh started her physiotherapy career in the NHS as a rotational physiotherapist across hospitals and into the community🦴. During that time she gained experience in neurological, orthopaedic, medical, surgical and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Niamh is passionate about delivering a person centred, holistic approach that empowers patients through education and guidance, movement, manual therapy and tailored treatment plans which fits individuals' goals and lifestyle🌞🌸. Outside work Niamh enjoy weight lifting, pilates, yoga, surfing, playing hockey and dancing🌊🧘‍♀️.

🎉🎉WELCOME TO THE TEAM KATE!🎉🎉

Kate is a passionate and dedicated physiotherapist, having graduated from the University of Otago New Zealand, in 2017. Kate tailors the physiotherapy treatment to be patient-centered, ensuring active patient participation and progress in their rehabilitation journey to achieve their goals💪🌞.

Her expertise covers a range of areas, including general musculoskeletal injuries, sports and work injuries, falls prevention, functional movement screens, hand therapy, post-operative rehabilitation and concussion rehabilitation programs🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🦴. She has experience with diverse patient populations and injuries, as well as working as a physiotherapist for various sports teams in rugby, ice hockey, soccer and surf life saving.

Outside of work, Kate is actively involved in Surf Life Saving, playing soccer, and enjoys outdoor activities such as running, surfing, and hiking🌸🙂.
