✨ Welcome to the team Nathan ✨

Nathan completed a bachelor of Sport and Exercise science in Melbourne, where he grew up. He then graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University on the Gold Coast in 2024.

Although a generalist, Nathan's main clinical interest are chronic musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries, stemming from his time leading a persistent pain focus group and as the head physio for Surfer Paradise Soccer club on the Gold Coast. Nathan focusses on empowering patient's to take control of their condition and find ways to live meaningfully while recovering from their pain.

Nathan is skilled in manual therapy, including acupuncture and dry needling. He also has extensive understanding in exercise prescription from his 5+ year career in strength and conditioning, which included time with Carlton's AFLW squad in Melbourne.

Outside of the clinic, Nathan enjoys exercising, spending time with friends and discovering new cafes with his partner.

✨ Welcome to the team Christian! ✨

Christian grew up a local in Byron Bay and went to Xavier Catholic College in Skennars Head before pursing a university degree on the Gold Coast. He graduated from a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2017 and then a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2019 from Griffith University, Gold Coast. Since then he has worked at multiple locations on the Gold Coast for 6 years from Dr's practices, Physio Private Practices and has even done Clinical Pilates coaching. He has also worked with many professional sport association's like Queensland Touch Football, the NRL and NSW Swimming Australia. He uses this wide range of experience to help treat a range of clinical presentations but likes to specialise in musculoskeletal, sports and spinal injuries. He has also has completed previous professional development courses in scoliosis and advanced dry needling and western acupuncture, as well as training from Strong man Coco and Burleigh barbell to learn fundamentals of weight lifting and Olympic lifting to help guide technique during gym based rehab; to assist his patients.
Christian's passion is improving patient's physical limitation through manual therapy and empowering the individual to understand and help maintain their condition.

Outside physiotherapy Christian is regularly trying to stay active through playing in local basketball comps, surfing, freediving and training for half marathon.

✨ Welcome our newest EP, Claire! ✨

Claire is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and Exercise Scientist (AES) with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology from Southern Cross University.

Claire works with a wide range of clients, including those with chronic conditions, injuries, and older adults, using tailored, evidence-based exercise programs to improve strength, mobility, and confidence.

Claire has a strong interest in osteoporosis, falls prevention, and helping older adults stay active and independent. Claire also spent 19 years in the Australian Army as a Physical Training Instructor, shaping her practical and supportive approach to rehabilitation.

Outside of work, she enjoys endurance sports, including marathons and Ironman triathlons.

🎊WELCOME TO THE PHYSIO PLUS TEAM, DAN🎊

Dan Lew is a charismatic physiotherapist from Vancouver, Canada. He obtained his Master of Physical Therapy from Western University in 2016. With a decade of clinical experience, he has cultivated a holistic approach to address the root cause of injuries and ensure long lasting results. He is passionate about educating his patients, so they understand the science of pain, and how to heal. He enjoys collaboratively creating rehab plans that fit their lifestyle. His treatment style blends therapeutic exercises, soft tissue release, joint mobilisation, and functional dry needling.

As a multi-sport athlete, Dan has suffered a plethora of injuries. This first hand experience has enhanced his understanding of the human body, and how to facilitate recovery. His current wellness routine revolves around surfing, running, yoga, strength training, meditation, journaling, healthy eating, and of course, physio exercises🏊🏄🙆.

Outside of work Dan moonlights as a folk singer-songwriter. He has released four albums, and has toured in Canada and Asia🎊💪🎯🎶. Now, you can find him performing and busking around the Northern Rivers.

Specialised care to help women feel strong, confident, and supported at every stage of life. From incontinence and pelvic floor issues to pregnancy or postnatal recovery, treatment combines assessment, education, exercise, and hands-on therapy to improve pelvic health and overall well-being.

Introducing Zoe to our Paediatric OT team! 🎊
Zoe completed a Bachelor’s degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast, graduating with Honours in 2025🥂. Zoe values a holistic approach to therapy , considering the whole child and their family’s needs to ensure support is meaningful, collaborative, and effective across everyday environments. She enjoys building connections with children and families and enjoys making sessions fun, purposeful, and tailored to each child’s individual strengths and goals. Zoe values supporting children and their families to develop confidence, independence in meaningful skills through engaging and evidence-based therapy👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.
Outside of work, Zoe enjoys Pilates, boxing, spending time at the beach and relaxing with a good book🌸.
