What is myotherapy?
Myofunctional therapy is a manual massage therapy that involves a deep understanding of anatomy, the musculoskeletal system, its various joints and connective tissues and how to attain and maintain balance of this system, in turn achieving homeostasis within the body and with its other bodily systems.
Myotherapy uses multiple massage techniques and includes exercise physiology and kinesiology to give each canine a personalized health plan.
Myotherapy is suitable for puppies and adult dogs. Just like humans, our pets can suffer from muscle injuries, growing pains, muscle tightness and general muscle discomfort. Myotherapy is an excellent resource for pets, sporting and working dogs to help recovery, muscle development and performance enhancement via muscle therapy. Myotherapy is also very beneficial for rehab situations and emotional stress.
