Dovida Tweed & Northern Rivers are thrilled to learn that Jenny Worrell is a finalist for Regional Woman Of The Year!
Grafton’s spectacularly successful Forget Me Nots became the inspiration that led to our wonderful Beating Hearts of Lismore and from their success, Shine On Wollumbin.
What well-deserved recognition for outstanding contribution to community.
GRAFTON'S OWN JENNY WORRELL FINALIST FOR NSW REGIONAL WOMAN OF THE YEAR 🌟
I’m absolutely delighted to see Grafton’s Jenny Worrell named a finalist for NSW Regional Woman of the Year at the 2026 NSW Women of the Year Awards — a huge and well-deserved honour, and a proud moment for the Clarence Valley.
Jenny is an exceptional educator, musician and community advocate. Many locals will know her through her work co-founding Forget Me Nots at the Clarence Valley Conservatorium alongside her good friend, Leigh Robertson — a free, volunteer-led singing group that supports people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and their carers, and brings connection, joy and dignity to so many lives. She has also served as Chair of the CVCON for the past decade.
Jenny’s compassion, leadership and quiet determination have touched hundreds of people in our community, and it’s wonderful to see her work recognised on a state stage. I believe this is the first time the Clarence Valley has had a finalist in this category — and it couldn’t have gone to a more deserving person.
Congratulations Jenny — we’re all cheering you on! 💐👏
