Unfortunately, our Art Program's piece didn’t make it through to the final round of the Uniting NDIS Local Area Coordination Abstract Abilities Art Competition — but we are incredibly proud of everyone who participated and worked together to create such a beautiful artwork.

This amazing piece would not have been possible without the assistance of one of our dedicated Support Workers, who is also a talented art teacher, along with our other incredible Support Workers who also supported and guided our participants throughout the process. We thank them all from the bottom of our hearts.

That being said, a huge congratulations to all the artists who made it to the final round! The artwork across all categories is absolutely AMAZZZZING. Best of luck to everyone — you’ve all inspired us!

🍽️ **Budget-Friendly Cooking: Beef Pasta Bake for a Rainy Day!**

On this rainy day, we kept it affordable and delicious with our **Beef Pasta Bake**!
Here’s how we made it even better (and budget-friendly!):

- Added **frozen veggies** and some **spinach** for a nutritious boost 🥦🥕

The result? A hearty, warming meal that everyone loved, and it didn’t break the bank! 💚

And of course, we finished it off with a sweet treat—**Banana Cake** 🍌🍰.

🍽️ Budget-Friendly Cooking: Beef Stroganoff Pasta Bake! 🍽️

This week, we're keeping it affordable and delicious with a twist on a classic! We made a Beef Stroganoff Pasta Bake, but with a few smart swaps to keep things budget-friendly:

Beef strips were swapped for beef mince, which helped cut down on costs. 💵
Added mixed frozen veggies to bulk up the dish and add some extra nutrients. 🥦🥕
Switched the pasta to macaroni 🍝

The result? A hearty, tasty meal that everyone loved, without breaking the bank! 💚

Advance care planning is the process of deciding what medical care you want if you can’t speak for yourself in the future. It helps ensure your wishes are followed and can include choosing someone to make decisions for you.

Cooking Group: Affordable and Delicious Meals for Everyone! 🍽️

At our Cooking Group, we love making healthy, budget-friendly meals that anyone can enjoy. With the cost of living going up, I’ve found that **frozen veggies** are a great way to bulk out meals without spending a lot. 🥦🥕

They’re cheaper, last longer, and are just as nutritious as fresh ones. Throw them in soups, stir-fries, or casseroles to make your meals more filling!

Also, check out our Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice – we even made our own teriyaki sauce! 🍗🍚

Our team was very please to share with our Volunteer, his recognition for a long history of supporting our community, in many different area for many years.
Malcom is a regular face at our Playgroups, always happy to lend a hand as needed, spending time with our attendees, making sure everyone is included.
