🌟 We’re Hiring – Disability Supervisor | Bathurst 🌟

UnitingCare Lithgow is seeking a motivated and experienced Disability Supervisor to join our Bathurst team.

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available.

This hands-on leadership role involves supporting Disability Care Workers, coordinating in-centre and in-home disability programs, assisting with rostering, supporting clients and families, and helping ensure services are delivered safely, respectfully, and in line with NDIS requirements.

We are looking for someone who has:
✅ Experience in disability services and NDIS supports
✅ Strong communication and people management skills
✅ Confidence with rostering, documentation and service coordination
✅ A caring, organised and practical approach
✅ A current driver’s licence, First Aid Certificate, WWCC, Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain relevant checks

Last Friday our clients enjoyed a lovely visit to Croftdown Farm in Bathurst 🐮🌿

Everyone had a wonderful time meeting and feeding the beautiful Highland cows and some very friendly donkeys. It was such a special outing, with lots of smiles, fresh air and great memories made together 💛

🌸💐 Mother’s Day Morning Tea 💐🌸

Last Friday, our clients enjoyed a beautiful Mother’s Day morning tea, with some mums and family members joining us for the celebration. 💕

Our wonderful staff prepared a lovely morning tea for everyone to enjoy, followed by lots of dancing, singing and karaoke fun! 🎤💃🕺

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and joy as everyone came together to celebrate the special women in our lives. 😊🌷

🚆💙 All aboard for a Blue Mountains adventure! 💙🚆

This week, our clients had the chance to check out the new Blue Mountains trains — and they absolutely loved every minute of it! 😍👏

There were plenty of smiles, laughs and excitement along the way as everyone enjoyed the trip and took in the beautiful scenery. 🌄✨

We love getting out and about in the community, trying new experiences, and making wonderful memories together. 😊💛

🌟 Neighbourhood Centre Week 2026 🌟
11–17 May | “Your Place to Connect”

Neighbourhood Centre Week is a nationwide celebration recognising the important role neighbourhood centres play in supporting, welcoming and connecting local communities.

This year, LINC will be taking part in Australia’s Largest Community Led Lunch, with free meals and food shared across a range of activities and programs throughout the week.

It’s all about bringing people together, reducing social isolation, and creating welcoming spaces where everyone feels connected. 💛

LINC Lithgow Information & Neighbourhood Centre is also running a Community Raffle, with over $4,000 in prizes generously donated by local businesses across the Lithgow region.

Prizes include stays, vouchers, hampers, experiences and more from wonderful local supporters including Turon Gates, Zig Zag Railway, Frankie’s Restaurant & Bar, The Blue Fox, Fast Fox, Twig, The Crib Room, SoL Healing Crystals, Planq Pilates, Lithgow Mud Juggler and many others.

Last Friday our clients and staff had an absolute blast at our Colour Run! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💨

There was colour flying everywhere 🎉🎨, lots of laughs 😂, and smiles all around 😄💛 – safe to say everyone got into the spirit (and a little bit messy! 🤪🌈)

We love seeing everyone come together, have fun, and create such awesome memories 💕✨

🐰🌸 Easter Hat Parade & Egg Hunt Fun! 🐣🎉

On Friday, our clients had an absolutely fantastic time taking part in our Easter Hat Parade 🎩🌼—showing off their amazing creations with lots of smiles 😄, laughter 😂, and plenty of Easter spirit! 🐰💛

Although the weather didn’t allow us to hold our Easter Egg Hunt outside ☔🥚, we brought all the fun indoors 🏠✨ and still made it a wonderful and memorable time together 💖🎊
