When we are feeling worried or challenged by our animal’s behaviour, our focus naturally goes to what they are doing, their reactions, and what we feel needs changing, yet so often they are reflecting something we are feeling within ourselves 😺
Our animals act as an emotional mirror, responding to how we feel, the emotional energy we carry and the relationship we have with ourselves 💫
If your animal is nervous or reactive it can be reflecting a sense of not feeling safe in an area of your own life. Separation anxiety in them may mirror a fear of being alone within you. When they become demanding or seem not to listen, it can reflect where you may find it difficult to hold clear, steady boundaries in your own life✨
It can help to ask yourself “where in my life is this behaviour showing up?”. Because as you begin to acknowledge and shift the emotions you are carrying, your animal feels that change in your energy and responds to it, often allowing them to feel more calm, settled and able to respond differently 🙌
If you feel your animal is holding something emotional, or you want support to understand what they are communicating, I offer Intuitive Animal Communication sessions ❤️
