Sleep your baby with their feet at the bottom end of the cot.

Positioning an infant on their back at the bottom end of their cot is the safest position for them to sleep.

WHY? Babies like to wriggle and writhe around when they sleep. Positioning them with their feet at the bottom end of the cot prevents them from wriggling under their blanket which can pose a suffocation risk.
