Support Worker Positon

Quality Community Care & Services (QCCS) is currently seeking Support Workers to join our team of support service professionals and help make a difference in our client's lives. Looking for support worker to cover Riverstone (NSW) and Blacktown LGA area.

*Must be available to travel to surrounding locations

* Experienced working with children age 7-16 years old

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide quality support and meet the requirements of the clients based on their individual needs and in line with their goals

- Support participant with social community participation such as assisting with local outing, events and activities.

- Assist clients in achieving rehabilitation goals

- Support clients with judgement and decision making

- Monitor client behaviour

- Maintain accurate records and report writing

- Provide feedback to the relevant Manager.

- Collaborate with family to support client needs

Qualifications/Experience:

- Previous experience is preferred

- Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent

Employment Conditions:

- Valid Driver License and use of a registered vehicle

- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 - Provide first aid)

- Working With Children Check (NSW) and/

- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to get one)

- Own reliable car

NDIS has increased the threshold for Assistive Technology from $5000 to $15000!

We are improving the way we fund Assistive Technology (AT).

We have increased the threshold for providing a quote for AT from $5,000 to $15,000. We are updating Our Guideline, Assistive Technology to reflect these changes.

We have also released a simpler and clearer guideline on vehicle modifications and driving supports.

Provision of telehealth interventions for clients via a video platform if required.
