Lets talk about Shingles Vaccine

Shingles (herpes zoster) is a painful rash caused by reactivation of the chickenpox virus. It can lead to serious complications, including long-lasting nerve pain.

The Australian Immunisation Program recommends:
• Shingles vaccine for all adults aged 18 years and older.
• Free vaccine for people aged 70 years (under the National Immunisation Program).

Vaccination can help reduce your risk of shingles and its complications.

دعونا نتحدث عن لقاح الهربس النطاقي (Shingles) او مايسمى بالحزام الناري او زنار النار

الأصابه بالهربس النطاقين او ( الحزام الناري ) او زنار النار (Herpes Zoster) هو طفح جلدي مؤلم يحدث بسبب إعادة تنشيط فيروس الجدري المائي. ويمكن أن يؤدي إلى مضاعفات خطيرة، منها آلام عصبية مزمنة طويلة الأمد.

يوصي برنامج التطعيم الأسترالي بـ:
• لقاح الـshingles لجميع البالغين ابتداءً من عمر 18 سنة فما فوق.
• لقاح مجاني للأشخاص بعمر 70 سنة (ضمن البرنامج الوطني للتطعيم).

يمكن أن يساعد التطعيم في تقليل خطر الإصابة بالهربس النطاقي ومضاعفاته.
