Big thanks to our friends at for organising a fantastic free AI workshop today presented by Amazon and Gradient Institute.

It was a really valuable session exploring how AI actually works, how it has evolved, and what it means for organisations like ours. We also walked away with some practical tools to help us develop good governance around the use of AI in our organisation.

We are so grateful for opportunities like this that help local organisations build capability and stay informed as technology continues to evolve.

This organisation started with one woman who wanted to help families. 💜

Our CEO Grace Fava founded AASS to create a place where everyone feels accepted, included, and cared for.

Today, we keep growing thanks to the support of our community and the many strong women in our team. Many are mums too, bringing care, understanding, and real-life experience to everything they do.

We are so proud of the women who help shape the heart of AASS every day who lift each other up and make this world kinder.

Happy International Women’s Day 🫶🏻

Many of the parents who access our services are not only caring for their children, including those with additional needs, but are also supporting ageing parents.

This “sandwich generation” is often balancing school meetings, therapy appointments and daily routines while also managing medical appointments, care decisions and emotional stress for their own parents.
