The Skilled Health team recently had the chance to sit down with the Mayor’s representatives, Renee and Georgia — and it was such a positive meeting!

Big thanks to WSSH for bringing this together. We spoke honestly about what small businesses in Parramatta actually need right now, and shared practical ideas on how we can support each other to grow, not just survive.

Great start to the morning with a fantastic meeting alongside !

We had an in-depth discussion covering all things rehabilitation, WHS, and HR, focusing on how we can work together to deliver the best possible outcomes for employers and their teams. It was also a valuable opportunity to explore the new psychosocial legislation and what it means in practice for workplaces moving forward.

Collaboration like this is key to building safer, healthier, and more supportive work environments.

On 26 March 2026, our Skilled Health team had the pleasure of attending this vibrant event at the stunning Cabra-Vale Club Resort, proudly organised by (Aged Care Events Community).

The event brought together passionate professionals, providers, and community members all dedicated to enhancing aged care. It was so fun and we loved every moment of connecting, sharing ideas, and having meaningful conversations about the future of Aged care!

The Skilled Health team recently had the pleasure of meeting David Bennie — an incredible endurance athlete, coach, and co-founder of the Parramatta Half Marathon!

David’s passion for running and supporting the community is inspiring, and we’re excited about the energy he’s bringing to Western Sydney’s running scene.

📅 The inaugural Parramatta Half Marathon is coming up this June, bringing one of the first major closed-road half marathons to the streets of Parramatta, finishing inside CommBank Stadium. It’s set to be an amazing event for runners of all levels so check it out and join the fun!
