Made a pastry with black garlic, Greek feta, spring onion, Yu tasi mustard leaves.

Because the offspring are off gallivanting in Greece, and I’m out here coping the only way I know how: butter, layers, and emotional eating.

Mummy’s day off hits different when there’s no one asking what’s for dinner and no socks mysteriously multiplying in the wash.

Chris and his family established Tropiculture almost 50 years ago in Bees Creek and have supplied local fruit trees & food plants to people of the Territory & beyond ever since. Chris has worked to introduce & develop new cultivars; helped build and promote Top End horticultural industries; and supplied businesses locally and interstate. Tropiculture is still supporting growers, gardeners and communities by sharing the wealth of knowledge and experience that has been accumulated. Most importantly, the joy of growing your own food.

Northern Territory Police are seeking the assistance from the public to locate a missing 16-year-old autistic male who was last seen near Laidlaw Court at Bayview about 2.30pm today.

Kobey, who is non-verbal, is described as Caucasian, about 175cm tall with a lean, solid build and a long, dark hair mullet.

When last seen he was wearing grey pyjamas with long pants and long sleeves and was barefoot.

Police are asking anyone who sees Kobey to contact them immediately on 131 444.

The 2024 mango harvest has come to a close with the final dehydration, marking the end of a successful season. This celebration honors the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, from the field workers to the processing team. Gratitude is extended to all who supported the harvest, whether through helping, purchasing, or simply offering encouragement. With pride in what’s been accomplished, the team looks forward to continuing the tradition of sharing these sweet mangoes in the future.
