This is the third Christmas that I have been involved in a handmade advent calendar. My friend created this idea with a mission to bring the joy of Christmas and giving to people, and remove commercialism and waste.
Since beginning with Laura, I branched off with a group of 24 people, there has being further branching from that.
I’ve been trying to keep Laura in the loop with how far her concept has spread. She told us that there are now hundreds of people that open a handmade gift each day leading up to Christmas filled with joy & appreciation for the thoughtfulness for the time that people have made.
I’ve been talking with people about the advent calendar and more people want to spread the idea next year .
Laura would love this.
