Maggie is a sweet loving little 2 year old dog who would love to find her forever home. 🏡

Maggie is an interesting mix of Staffy and possibly Foxi, making her full grown at just 8kg! What she lacks in size she makes up for in her beautiful character and hilarious antics.

Maggie didn’t have the best start to life. She was abandoned by her owner and literally left for dead. Luckily the abandonment was reported and she was taken to a shelter. She was never claimed by her owner. She was overwhelmed and terrified by shelter life. So we have taken her in to our care and given her time to decompress and find her “happy” again. 🐾 ♥️

Due to the fact she had no microchip, her age and breed are an educated guess.

Maggie sleeps soundly through the night and she is quite content to spend her days alone if her new owner works. Just provide her with some enrichment and toys and she can entertain herself for hours!

Maggie can be shy of new people, but she warms up fast, especially with treats. She is doing well with her training, her new family will need to continue this.

A happy ending for Charlie 🥰

Charlie has been adopted in to a beautiful family. She is living on a fully fenced 4 acres with a lovely couple and sweet older doggy friend.

Charlie recently made the trip up to QLD to meet her new family and they are absolutely smitten with her.

“She is such a happy little thing. Bonnie loves her and they curl up and sleep together.”

We want to thank everyone who helped Charlie along in her journey to her new home. Including the wonderful people at the RSPCA Hunter shelter who took care of her for 5 months before she came in to our care.

Coastal Critter Carriers were superstars with their care and kindness while transporting Charlie. They took the time to listen and understand my concerns with her travelling such a long way. I got regular updates and the trip was seamless 🥰

The biggest thank you has to go to Charlie’s amazing adopters 💜 Not only did they save the life of Charlie, but also the next dog that can now come in to our care.

Charlie loves her morning walks to school. The kids have enjoyed training her. She is very good on lead and knows to sit before crossing the road 🐾

Little Mouse is just 6 weeks old and looking for a loving home. He is the sweetest little snuggle bug.

Little Mouse is currently living with Floyd, our beautiful long haired Peruvian Guinea Pig. They appear to be bonding well.

We would like to see Little Mouse adopted with Floyd or he could join a herd of female piggies.

Little Mouse is desexed and has had revolution applied for parasite control.

Floyd has a long silky coat with striking swirls and colours. Without even trying, he always looks like he has just stepped out of the salon!

Floyd is desexed, microchipped and treated with revolution for parasites.

Floyd must be rehomed with another piggie or piggies. He can go to a home with females (because he has been castrated and will not be able to breed with them) or be a companion for another male guinea pig.

Max is a stunning Abyssinian male desexed guinea pig. His swirls and colouring set him apart. He has a beautiful sweet nature that just adds to his charm.

Did you know that guinea pigs are socially obligate? This means that they should never live alone without another piggie, as they will likely become depressed and lonely.

Max is desexed (he has been castrated), microchipped and he has been treated with revolution for parasites.

Max can go to a home with females or be a companion for another male guinea pig.

Sugarloaf Animal Hospital would like to remind you that the 𝐑𝐇𝐃𝐕𝟏-𝐊𝟓 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 is scheduled for early March 2025 for the Greater Sydney local government areas, including the Central Coast.

This program will include the release of the Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV1-K5), a calicivirus designed to control wild rabbit populations, but which can impact pet rabbits. The most severe effect of this virus is death.

If you have a pet rabbit, it's important they are vaccinated 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝟏 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 to ensure the best protection. 🛡️

We highly recommend scheduling an appointment to get your rabbit vaccinated as soon as possible.
