Invisible Disabilities Awareness Week is an annual event from October 20th to October 26th, created with the intention of bringing more awareness to invisible disabilities.

It's estimated that 1 in 7 people worldwide have a disability, and that 90% of those disabilities are invisible.

Invisible disabilities are physical, mental, or neurological conditions that are not immediately obvious to others.

They can include:
* Chronic pain
* Mental health disorders
* Autoimmune diseases
* Neurodiverse conditions
* Autism
* Epilepsy
* Chronic fatigue syndrome
* Sensory processing disorder
* Multiple sclerosis
* Fibromyalgia
* Traumatic Brain Injury
as well as other injuries and chronic health conditions

Awareness and understanding of invisible disabilities are crucial in fostering an inclusive society. By ensuring access to necessary accommodations, we empower individuals to thrive and share their unique contributions 💙
