Thank you to everybody that attended our Annual Christmas Party on Saturday!!

We had a wonderful day filled with delicious food, laughs and friendship.

On Friday night Lindsay attended the 2025 Queensland Community Achievement Awards on behalf of Amputees Queensland.

Lindsay is on the Management Committee and also one of our valued peer support volunteers.

Amputees Queensland was recognised as a finalist in the 2025 Awards for the Bendigo Bank Community Group of the Year Award which celebrates community groups, organisations and not for profits that make a positive difference across Queensland.

We were pleased to be nominated and recognised in this category.

Limbs 4 Life Australia will be holding free workshops in 2026 for amputees throughout Australia - Amplify | your voice, your choice!

These workshops will be free with partners and friends welcome to attend.

What a fantastic morning we had today with Ethan from Jinang-Jinang. We learnt how didgeridoos, spears and shields are made, to the use of lemon myrtle leaves and native bees wax to emu eggs, echidna quills and animal furs. Ethan was so interesting and knowledgeable, we could have had him talking all day!!

Co-Design Workshop for families of people with disability

Community Resource Unit (CRU) is hosting an interactive workshop in Logan to empower families and people with lived experience of disability to become co-designers.

Learn what co-design is, why it matters, and build the confidence and skills to contribute to shaping an inclusive future. Facilitated by passionate CRU team members, this event offers practical insights and connection.

When: Thursday 13 November 2025, 9:30am to 4pm
Where: Diggers Services Club, 42-48 Blackwood Rd, Logan Central
