Our Director and Principal Occupational Therapist, Meg Doherty, has been invited to take part in an upcoming webinar with the Australian Institute of Family Studies
This webinar will focus on the wellbeing of neurodivergent parents and the powerful impact parent wellbeing has on children’s mental health and outcomes. Meg will be sharing her perspective as an occupational therapist, practice owner, and neurodivergent parent — with a strong focus on neurodiversity-affirming, family-centred support.
This work sits at the heart of what we do every day:
✨ supporting families, not just children
✨ recognising the invisible load parents carry
✨ advocating for systems that truly understand neurodivergent experiences
We’re incredibly proud to see Meg contributing to national conversations and research-informed practice that supports families to thrive!
Our live webinar program is kicking off for 2026!
Did you know that neurodivergence often runs in families, and a growing number of parents are reporting that their child’s diagnosis led them to realise they were neurodivergent themselves?
Neurodivergent families can face unique challenges.
Hear from Dr Luke Schneider (Adelaide Child Psychology), Megan Doherty (Eli's Place Allied Health) Samantha Johnson (Coach & Late diagnosed Autistic/ADHD mother [AuDHD]) and Jacquie Lee (Emerging Minds Australia) as they discuss how you can promote wellbeing with a whole-family approach.
Join us on 11 February 2026 to kick off our live webinar program for 2026!
