Absolute f***waffle's the one most patients come into JB Acupuncture complaining about...
In all fairness, it's only being a jerk & chucking a tanty because it's fed up with playing tug-o-war all day every day against your pecs, whilst also holding up the huge heavy lump that's your head.
Moral of the story?
Stretch your pecs.
Every. Single. Day.
Or stop spending 90% of your day with your arms up in front of you; because that makes your pecs think they need to be tight AF all the time.

Here’s an idea – a no nonsense stretching and mindfulness class to help you to shed the s**t that’s weighing you down.
No whale songs, pan pipes or waterfalls to distract and annoy you.
Just metal.
Let’s face it, living in a modern First World capitalist society there’s so much s**t screaming at you all day every day (DO THIS, BUY THAT, THIS IS GOOD/BAD) that practising meditation to metal’s much the same - finding your calm amidst the storm of madness that’s battering your brain.
As a registered acupuncturist and massage therapist with a background in dance, yoga and Qi Gong, I believe it’s really important to enjoy exercise as a celebration of what you can do. I also believe that everyone deserves to feel better; and I love being part of helping you do so.
Classes are a mix of warm-up, breathing exercises, qigong, stretches, balances, self-massage and relaxation techniques. All exercises can be modified to cater to your capability for that day.
It’s not a flexibility or strength competition. So, even if you’ve got a broken leg in a cast, are built like The Hulk or suffer crippling arthritis, it’s a class you can do. I LOVE sharing those challenges & watching you win at them!!!
Ideally, Mindful Madness is about practising self-nurturing behaviours. Uh huh... visualising a fair few folk recoil at reading that...
The whole growing self-love idea can be challenging. So, if you prefer to view it as an exercise in less self-loathing (yup, very Devin Townsend)? Damn good chance you’ll get more than just physical benefit out of these classes.
I teach you skills you can use at home to feel better... & maybe, just maybe, expand some comfort zones.
