Be “In Harmony” with your health & wellbeing through learning the flowing Mindful Movements of Qigong (pronounced: chee goong ) & Meditation. Combined with gentle breathing, these easy to learn mainly standing postures support & strengthen the body in returning to it’s natural balanced state of health (of yin/yang). Qi (or chi) is the life force energy that runs through everything, whilst Gong means practice. Qigong has been part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for over 6,000 years. Through the regular practice of allowing Qi to flow throughout the body without blockages (which cause illness & disease), Qigong helps to maintain your natural healthy & harmonious state, reducing stress & anxiety, detoxing, restoring energy & strengthening your physical body. The movements help you to connect with your body’s wisdom as you start to tune in & feel. Run by Mel Bean, who first discovered Qigong whilst recovering from her diagnosis of Breast Cancer in 2016, she has undergone practice with Master Lisa McEvoy & Practitioner Training from Qigong Master Simon Blow. After briefly trying Tai Chi, Melanie found that Qigong was a better fit being based on the flowing Self Care practices of TCM, rather than martial arts. Learn to prioritise your wellness. Rising Energy and the Rhythm of January
January is a month of gathering energy.

It is a time for rebuilding strength, restoring balance, and allowing a conscious pause before momentum begins to build throughout the year.

This quieter rhythm is not a setback — it is intentional.
If life feels slower, heavier, or more inward right now, it’s because you’re being given space to recalibrate and realign before forward motion resumes.

At the same time, solar activity has been heightened, and many people are feeling this in very individual ways.
Increased solar emissions and energetic input can affect the body, mind, and nervous system differently from person to person.

Common experiences right now include:
• fatigue or low energy
• disrupted sleep or vivid dreams
• headaches, sinus pressure, or brain fog
• skin sensitivity or blurry vision
• digestive sensitivity or nausea
• heightened emotions or waves of release without a clear external cause
• feeling “between worlds” or slightly disoriented

These are often signs of integration, not failure or regression.
Your nervous system and energetic body are adjusting to higher levels of information, awareness, and frequency.

Many people are also noticing increased intuition, sudden insights, repeating numbers, symbolic dreams, or moments of clarity that seem to arrive out of nowhere.
Some describe this as receiving light codes or energetic information — not something to “figure out,” but something the body integrates over time.

This process can feel subtle or intense, grounding or disorienting — sometimes all at once.

Some feel a strong urge to rest, withdraw, or simplify.
Others experience bursts of creativity, downloads of ideas, or sudden knowing about what no longer aligns.
Both responses are valid expressions of recalibration.

There is also a sense right now of overlapping timelines — endings and beginnings coexisting.
Time itself can feel unusual, accelerated, or stretched.
What once took months or years to process may now surface and resolve more quickly as awareness expands.

As Earth’s vibration continues to rise, lower-density patterns — personal and collective — are being exposed so they can be released.
This creates space for rebirth, alignment, and more authentic, heart-led living.

This is not about pushing or forcing transformation.
It’s about allowing the body and nervous system to catch up with changes that are already underway.

Tiredness, moments of boredom, or low motivation do not mean you are behind.
They often mean something is reorganising at a deeper level.

This is a season of inward becoming.
Shedding outdated identities, listening more closely to intuition, and honouring rest all support this phase.

What you are building now — quietly, internally, gently — is laying the foundation for what will soon take form in ways that feel more aligned, sustainable, and true.

Move slowly where you can.
Regulate before you accelerate.
Your system knows how to recalibrate when given safety, space, and compassion.

This shift is meant for ALL of us.
And we are the ones meant to 'land' it here.

An Invocation today:

Take a moment now.
Let your body arrive where you already are.

Feel the weight of yourself being held — by the ground, the chair, the bed, the breath.
Nothing to solve.
Nothing to rush.

I acknowledge that not everything needs to be understood right now.
I release the pressure to be ahead, to be finished, to have clarity before my body is ready.

I give myself permission to pause.

I gently release all emotional contracts formed in survival —
the need to stay alert, to anticipate, to brace, to manage outcomes before they arrive.

I clear vows of silence.
I clear patterns of self-abandonment.
I clear timelines built on urgency, shame, inherited fear, or the belief that rest must be earned.

I call my energy back now
—from the past,
—from the future,
—from old conversations,
—from imagined outcomes,
—from stories that no longer fit who I am becoming.

I return fully to my body.
To my breath.
To this moment.

I choose presence over panic.
I choose truth over noise.

If something is not aligned with love, clarity, or safety in my body,
I allow it to fall away — without force, without judgment.

My nervous system is learning that it is safe to soften.
It is safe to be here.
It is safe to move at the pace of integration.

I am not behind.
I am arriving.

And that is enough.

A recent Endocrine Practice study shows that metabolic health changes across menopause in ways the scale does not capture. Before menopause, women tended to have higher weight and waist size. After menopause, women often had lower weight but higher blood sugar and blood pressure.

The key takeaway is simple: cardiometabolic risk shifts with hormonal stage, and BMI alone misses the full picture. Menopause care should be stage-specific and focused on long-term metabolic resilience, not just weight.

What a highlight tuning into the wisdom of nature 🌸🍃 with Natalie Flower Intelligence Workshop 💐

We each chose a flower & spent time mindfully in connection with the essence of Mother Nature.
Mine was an orange Dahlia 🧡💚
Intuitively I saw the unique complexity of her wholeness which I wrote down on my first line (& is what Dahlia is all about as Natalie shared with us later on + Integration!) & the resilience & strength. As the flower starts its journey from a tiny seed, spending its time cultivating its lifeforce energy (Qi) into the slender green strong stem & leaves, & finally onto forming such exquisite beauty for us to enjoy, all unbeknownst to itself.

What a reflective & joyful process of discovery that resonated with each participant & the insights that they shared through their Flower Interactions! It was truly heart opening - shining a light on ourselves & resonating with our own lives. So perfect for this day! 💖✨
