I heard the very wise speak about this and I thought - it was spot on!

I often talk about how anger can be a mask for sadness. We can often feel safer staying in our anger and projecting it on to others. A sense of being right or power can come from diffusing our upset and rage through loud words or angry actions.

A lot of the time though, anger is protecting us from feeling the hurt that may sit underneath.
Because most of us grew up in environments where it wasn't ok to express our sadness and hurt, we learned to push it down and then it may have come out with explosive anger.

How does anger turn up in your life?
- Is it because you haven't got your needs met or your boundaries have been crossed?
- Is it because you feel passionate about something?
- Is it masking some deeper wounds and hurts?

Can you lean into the story that may be present?
