Hydration isn't "one size fits all." Your needs change based on the weather, your workout intensity, and your own body.

But here’s the key: needs vary from person to person depending on body size, sweat rate, climate, and training intensity.

A few evidence-based reminders:

1. Thirst is a signal but it may come after mild dehydration has already started
2. During longer or more intense sessions, fluids + electrolytes can help maintain balance (especially when sweating heavily)
3. Urine colour is often used as a simple, general indicator (pale = typically hydrated, darker = may need more fluids)
4. Hydration still matters even in cooler weather = you still lose fluids through breathing and sweat
