When a reset is needed, timing matters.
Our 3-Session Individual Deluxe Sound Massage Package ($350, incl. consult) is designed around a frequency that supports real nervous-system change—not just a one-off relaxation.

Recommended rhythm
• Session 1 – Reset & assessment
• Session 2 – 3–4 days later
• Session 3 – 7 days after Session 2

Why this works so well

🔹 Session 1: Interrupts the stress loop
Ideal if you’re managing chronic stress, emotional overload, decision fatigue, or feeling disconnected from clarity. The body drops out of “hold and brace” patterns and into deep parasympathetic rest.

🔹 Session 2 (3–4 days later): Consolidates regulation

As the year comes to a close, I’m feeling deeply grateful for this community and for what we’re building together at The Yoga Shed.

This year has reinforced for me how powerful regular practice and genuine connection can be. When yoga becomes part of life — not something we squeeze in — something shifts. The unlimited term options, consistent attendance, and shared rhythms have helped create a space where people feel supported, recognised, and at ease being themselves.

Community is quietly healing. Showing up regularly, practicing together, having real conversations — it matters.

Looking ahead, I’m open to the continued evolution of The Yoga Shed with community at its centre. In 2026, this includes sharing teaching roles with other wonderful teachers from within our community, bringing diversity and creativity while maintaining the depth and integrity many of you value.

Yoga, meditation, sound, nature, and conscious living will remain at the heart of what we offer — with sound massage continuing as a powerful standalone practice or complement to yoga for nervous system support, clarity, and deep rest.

January will be lighter in the studio while many people are away, with online programs and a small number of events running - including our popular New Year's Day Sound Meditation. Please keep an eye on the Classes & Events page for updates.

We're in for a hot one today and 42 degrees calls for a different kind of wisdom.

Extreme heat, end-of-year busyness, social commitments, and full nervous systems all ask the same thing of us:
👉 adjustment, not endurance.

Today (and days like it) are not about pushing through or sticking rigidly to plans. They’re about reading the conditions and responding wisely.

A few simple ways to modify today:

Slow your pace — especially mid-morning and afternoon

Shorten tasks rather than skipping them entirely

Choose gentler movement, or rest without guilt

Hydrate more than you think you need

Eat lighter, simpler foods

Lower expectations — of yourself and others

Self-care isn’t always bubble baths and candles.
Sometimes it’s knowing when not to push.

Listening to your body, your energy, and the environment is not a weakness — it’s self-respect.

Take care out there today. 🌿
