What's happening this next week for Shalom Teas?
🍵Saturday (29th) you'll find us with Dragon's Workbench at the Bungendore Christmas Market from 9-2.
🍵And then the exciting news that Little Trade Co. will be opening their new store in Federation Square, Gold Creek next Monday (1 Dec). It's going to be a beautiful little store & I have the privilege of having a shelf stocked with Shalom Teas.
What a couple of wonderful opportunities to do some Christmas shopping while getting out, enjoying a lovely atmosphere & supporting small businesses. Hope to see you there!

Starts at 9:30!

Just bought a jar of hayfever remedy honey from Belinda's Bees (a fellow stall holder). Honey made from local spring pollen is a lovely natural hayfever remedy believed to help build tolerance. Still a few jars left.
Couple with my Relieve Herbal tea for relief of mild hay fever.

Heard this idea from a customer and gave it a go for dinner last night... Sprinkled some of my Herbal Seasoning on my veggies before putting them in the oven. Worked a treat - super yummy and nourishing.
(I used my Immune Boost).

While on the topic of mushrooms...
Mushrooms are an amazing food for the immune system. Nutritionally they are a bit of a power house and are a food source of vitamin D (see yesterday's post for one of my favourite food hacks); but they also contain beta-glucans which are amazing for the immune system. Including all sorts of mushrooms in the diet (such as sh*take, maitake, oyster and even the common white mushrooms found at the supermarket) can be a great way to support and boost immunity.
And my immune boosting herbal seasoning's contain some beautiful medicinal mushrooms, along with other immune supporting herbs - you can add them to soups & casseroles, or use them to make a nourishing cup-a-soup. You can order online here: https://www.shalomhealth.com.au/shop

Hi, I’m Tania. I'm so pleased to welcome you to my page.
I love what I do! I love working with people to help them claim back their health.
So what is Shalom Health?
Shalom is a Hebrew word rich in meaning and one that we don’t have an equivalent for in the English language. It communicates well being and harmony both within and without - peace, harmony, wholeness in body soul & spirit, completeness, victory, prosperity, welfare, tranquility, quietness of soul. It is nicely summed up, “Nothing Missing, Nothing Broken.” It is also used as both “hello” and “goodbye”, but spoken in this way as much more than a casual or social greeting – it is a blessing, a deep desire, a prayer, encompassing all that is mentioned above.
'Shalom' expresses all that I desire for my clients. I long to see my clients well, whole, free and living life to the full.
So why naturopathy?
Naturopathy considers the whole person – the body as a whole as well as mind, emotions and spirit. It doesn’t just treat symptoms but addresses underlying imbalances. It is my belief that we have everything we need in nature to be well.
In many ways being a naturopath is like gardening (another of my loves). A gardener pays attention to the health of the soil, the location of the plant (where does it thrive), providing what the plant needs (water, sunshine or shade, good food, good companions). I know that if my plant has the right conditions and is strong and healthy, it is less susceptible to disease or pests.
Similarly, I know that if a person is well nourished, well positioned, in conditions where they thrive, has supportive relationships, is strong and healthy then they are less susceptible to disease and infection. If the body is given what it needs then it has the ability to be well. And when a person’s health is out of balance and weakened I consider it a privilege to work with that person to address the underlying cause and nurture them back to health.
I look forward to joining you on your health journey, wherever you are currently at and sharing that journey with you.
