Fleming Physiotherapy & Acupuncture is still functioning! However as stage 4 restrictions are now in place. 5/8/2020-16/9/2020.
-Essential and Urgent healthcare is available

-COVID guidelines are follow as recommended by DHSS and APA COVID.(masks are a must and eye protection will be worn by clinical staff, along with normal handwashing and sanitising procedures will continues)

-Clients are requested to wear facemasks and for this period of time to provide their own towels

-Telehealth appointments should you wish not to attend

-Home Visits still available

_Home worksite assessment which is done by zoom (video), where we can advise you on changes to your work set up at home, give you exercises for when you are working from home, to prevent any issues of your body over the coming months! Unfortunately, this is not covered by health insurance, but at $70 cost, well worth it to prevent that sore neck and back.

Day 7 in the developmental clinic all day! Our physio dr, nurse and child life worker perform assessments, and for those who have travelled many km they set up a home program to help the child progress in the best way possible! The outreach workers assist to check all is going as expected!

I have set up a go fund me account to take any donations to go towards therapy equipment and resources for the Laos Friends Hospital for Children. I will be volunteering as a physiotherapist and working with the local therapists to improve the programs in March. The donations will go towards equipment such as breast pumps, cleft palate bottles, seating for children with cerebral palsy and other goods used to improve the lives of the children on Luang Prabang. Anything you can donate would be much appreciated and would make a huge difference to this valuable resource
