Here at Healthy Lifestyles Australia, we are proud providers of Allied Health Assistant services. But what is Allied Health? And how does it apply to you?
We're glad you asked! 😉

Allied health covers a large, diverse sector of health care and people will see an allied health practitioner for many different reasons. Allied health professionals use evidence-based practices to prevent, diagnose and treat various conditions and illnesses. They often work in multidisciplinary health teams to provide specialised support to suit an individual’s needs.

Allied health is a powerful tool to enable you to take control of your own health and lead a healthy lifestyle. It's also a strong support system if you have health concerns and need more care. Allied health practitioners often work together with your GP and fellow allied health clinicians to be a support team for you.

At Healthy Lifestyles Australia, we understand the challenges individuals, particularly NDIS participants, face in accessing quality healthcare. That's why we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care through our Allied Health Assistant services.
Our team of skilled Allied Health Assistants offers support in Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Diabetes Education, Podiatry and more. We collaborate closely with NDIS participants and their allied health professionals to customise our services to their specific needs.

Hi, my name’s Chloe and I’m one of the dietitians at Healthy Lifestyles Australia. This year I’m trying to get more tofu and soy foods into my diet because they’re so nutritious! Great source of protein 💪🏻calcium 🥛 and helps lower cholesterol 📉
The answer: IT’S IN THE DRESSING
I’m not always the biggest fan of tofu so I’m trying different ways, and it worked so well blended into the chocolate mousse (check out our previous video on this). So try blending in some silken tofu to your next creamy dressing - my family didn’t even notice!
