Big news, Loxton! 🙌

We’re thrilled to welcome River Allied Health Exercise Physiology to the Move Well Podiatry space! 🙌

Senior Exercise Physiologist, Damien Crettenden will be consulting in clinic every Tuesday and Thursday from the 14th of April. 🏋️‍♀️🏋️

Damien, now a Loxton local, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in exercise physiology, supporting clients to improve their function, independence and quality of life across a wide range of conditions and personal goals.

Have a look through the flyer below to learn more about how exercise physiology can help you move better and feel stronger. Private clients and all government and third-party funding pathways are welcome, with some pathways requiring a GP referral.

We’re delighted to welcome Angela Bambrick from Active Lymphatics into the Move Well Podiatry space! 🎉

Angela is a Registered Nurse and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, bringing a lovely mix of knowledge, care and experience to her treatments.

In 2025, Angela completed Level 1 and 2 of the Dr Vodder Technique of Manual Lymph Drainage, before also spending time learning from the wonderful Steph Butson earlier this year. She then officially commenced her clinic in February 2026. 🙌

Angela now consults 3 days per week at Move Well Podiatry and is available to support a range of lymphatic management needs, listed below.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a sequence of repetitive, rhythmic, pain free movements of the skin to reduce swelling, pain and inflammation.

Conditions that can be treated with MLD include, but aren’t limited to:

- Swollen, heavy, aching legs due to poor circulation
- Hard to heal wounds
- Improve healing pre and post joint replacement surgeries
- Arthritis and bursitis
- Sinusitis / hayfever
- Tinnitus
- Digestive issues such as constipation
- Fibromyalgia / other chronic or inflammatory pain conditions.
- as a wellbeing treatment to reduce stress, which then improves the immune system, sleep quality, digestion and skin health.

Please note that Angela is unable to provide treatment for lymphoedema caused by a damaged lymphatic system such as cancer treatment or for oedema caused by heart or kidney failure.

A bit about Jess

Jess is a solution-focused, patient-centred Podiatrist with over a decade of experience caring for the Adelaide and Riverland communities.

With a background in Human Movement, she graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Podiatry. During her studies, Jess was awarded two of the program’s three distinguished academic prizes — an achievement rarely attained by a single student:

• The J R Pickering Prize in Appliances (highest aggregate mark in Clinical Biomechanics 400 & 401) • The T G Mitchell Prize (highest academic achievement across Podiatry Clinical Studies, Podiatry Practice and Applied Podiatry Practice — spanning 13 subjects across the 4 year degree)

Since graduating, Jess has worked across all facets of podiatry, supporting people at every stage of life — from routine foot care and toenail surgery through to complex biomechanical concerns and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Proudly based in the Riverland since 2018, Jess is passionate about providing high-quality podiatry care close to home. She has a particular interest in children’s podiatry and foot pain management, helping growing bodies and active individuals navigate challenges so they can stay involved in sport, school, work and community life.

Outside the clinic, Jess enjoys staying active with her young family and their border collies. Being part of an active household herself, she understands the everyday demands placed on growing kids and busy adults — and the important role healthy feet play in supporting an active, independent lifestyle.

Jess combines strong clinical knowledge with genuine empathy. She takes the time to listen, understand your goals, and develop treatment plans that are practical, personalised and grounded in evidence.

Her goal is simple: practical, personalised care that supports lifelong movement.

👣 Move Well Podiatry is reopening in March!

Jess is excited to be back and consulting on Tuesdays 🎉

Appointments will be available for:

• Foot and lower leg pain or injuries
• Orthotics
• Children’s podiatry
• Sports podiatry

Private clients are welcome, with HICAPS available for on-the-spot private health insurance claims.

Due to limited capacity, toenail and skin care services and diabetic assessments aren’t available at this time, and government-funded referrals (including Medicare, DVA, NDIS and Home Care Packages) or WorkCover cannot be accepted.

We’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones back into the clinic 🤎

New Team Member Announcement: Welcome Damien!

We are thrilled to welcome Damien Crettenden to the River Allied Health team as our new Exercise Physiologist!

Relocating to the Riverland from Adelaide was an easy task with the numerous attractions and lifestyle of the Riverland region - he is eager for new adventures and ready to explore our unique hidden treasures.

Outside of work, Damien keeps active at the gym, running, playing social sport, and is passionate about downhill mountain biking – a hobby that matches his energetic personality.

As part of our future services plan, we are now accepting bookings and referrals for exercise physiology services with Damien in addition to our existing team of physiotherapists and allied health assistants to provide assessments, home exercise plans, gym-based programs and hydrotherapy interventions tailored to individual needs.

Damien is excited to help us introduce Exercise Physiology to the Riverland, and looks forward to becoming a part of the Riverland community.
