Frailty is not an inevitable part of growing older – and physiotherapy can help prevent it.
Staying strong, active and engaged is the key to ageing well.

Physiotherapy support older adults to:
1. Maintain muscle strength
2. Improve endurance and energy
3. Enhance balance and coordination
4. Stay independent in daily life

Movement is medicine – and its never to early (or too late!) to start. Lets move toward a future where aging is strong, not frail.

🌿 Professional Development Mindfulness Day 🌿
Our team recently had the privilege of spending a deeply enriching day with Georgie Davidson, exploring the power of mindfulness in both our professional and personal lives.
Through guided reflection, practical tools, and meaningful discussion, we learned how to better connect with ourselves and manage the demands of our fast-paced lives with presence and compassion. Georgie’s insights helped us understand that mindfulness isn't about escaping stress, but learning to respond to it with awareness and clarity.
One of the most moving moments of the day was hearing the poem "My Heart and My Brain Divorced" by John Roedel — a powerful reminder of the importance of integrating heart, mind, and body.

💛 Read the poem here: https://enchantmentofwords.wordpress.com/2021/08/17/my-brain-and-my-heart-divorced/

Thank you, Georgie, for helping us press pause and reconnect.
