Hi I am Domenic and I am a passionate remedial massage therapists, I provide remedial massage to address your presenting muscular and joint pain and associated discomfort. Hi for most of you who do not know me my name is Domenic, I have been a massage therapist since 2007 but it's only been my full-time profession since 2017, amazing how time fly's.⁣

In-between those years I was mainly working in our family business located in Luddenham, whilst providing a mobile massage service part time.⁣
⁣
My parents, sisters and I have run and managed the family business in luddenham since 1972 and is ongoing at the present. After leaving High school I tried many different fields of study from travel consultant to hairdressing, though I never progressed into any of those fields I value and treasure the skills I have learnt along the way.⁣

My massage career was influenced by one of my sisters who encouraged me to pursue this career after helping her on many occasions to relive her neck and shoulder tension that also seemed to relive those pesky tension headaches she was experiencing.⁣

I have personally experienced amazing results with massage therapy in the past, one time in particular when I was about five, I sprained my ankle and the next morning my father had to carry me as I could not put any weight on my foot, so my father took me to a massage therapist who I had now idea of back then, though miraculously I walked out of his clinic after a single treatment a bit of a miracle or magic hands, I think.⁣

Massage has supported me in many ways from reliving Sciatica, headaches, shoulder pain and managing my stress and anxiety making life so much more manageable.⁣

Through my own personal experiences of receiving regular therapeutic massage treatments over the years, I am so happy to be able to provide my unique approach of massage therapy to you.⁣

Tuesday last week (30th Dec), I injured my back while getting set up for treatments.

I squatted down to grab face cradle covers from the bottom drawer and felt a sharp, clamping pain in my back straight away. I knew then it wasn’t good. I managed to get through the day, but by the end of it I could barely move.

With it being New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, I wasn’t able to get the tests done straight away.

I had an MRI on Friday and I’m now waiting on the results, which should come through today or tomorrow.

At this stage, I won’t be able to work. I’ll be contacting clients who have appointments this week, and I’ll keep you all updated as I know more.

Pain is not fun but these things do happen. I’m focusing on resting and recovering, and hoping to be back to my normal self as soon as I can.

Today is a quiet one for me.

The clinic is closed, and I’m getting a few essential things done around home, then resting — doing very little on purpose.

Staying in the moment and being as present as I can during this time ✨

A few deep breaths here and there, and a big smile 😀

Yes its a thing Self Employed Holiday Party

And im grateful for that 💯

I been catching up with some really tired friends, from all their Christmas holiday parties and TBH im not envious of them 😁

I love my rest and quiet time that allows me to function at my best to serve all my clients with 100% presence and energy 😌

I'll celebrate with a grateful heart ❤️ that I get to be and do what I feel ive been called to do 💆‍♂️ 💆‍♀️

As I start to wind down for the year and that may take a couple of days in preparation for a short break to reconnect with my calling and prepare to channel new light and guidance for the new year ahead ✨️

This time of year, always amazes me. We’re all so different, yet in many ways very similar, even though everyone’s circumstances, commitments and rhythms look a little different.

Some people feel busier, some quieter, some already organised, and others still finding their way through the lead-up to Christmas.

Working from a home-based clinic is something I really appreciate right now. I don’t have to sit in traffic or deal with busy queues and car parking stress, and it allows me to keep things calm and unhurried for the people I see.

I try to keep this season simple and be as gentle on myself as I can, and I encourage the same for you.

For those of you who already have your appointments booked in thank you for planning ahead and taking care of your body during this time.
And if you’ve been thinking about coming in before Christmas, I do still have some availability this week. Sometimes getting in a little earlier can make the lead-up feel more manageable in the body.

Mid-December already, and I notice how much we’re all rushing to get things done before Christmas.

The change in routine, the heat, the busy pace, and that constant push to “do more” can easily throw our bodies out of sync.

As a massage therapist, I see every day how even the smallest shifts can affect us from tension headaches to frazzled minds.

Flow-cember isn’t about chasing perfection or reinventing yourself. It’s about tuning back into your body’s natural rhythm.

Here are three gentle shifts I lean on myself, and encourage my clients to try:

💧 Drink a little more water your muscles will thank you.
🚶 Move a little more each day — circulation loves consistency.

😌 Give yourself permission to rest recovery is just as important as activity.

I call this Flow-cember my own word for finding ease and flow in the middle of December’s chaos.

A reminder that you don’t need to push harder; you just need to give your body space to breathe.

There’s something about this time of year… even though it’s only the 10th, the body starts to feel a little strained, a little tired, a little ready to exhale.

In the treatment room this week, I’ve seen noticed alot of, tight shoulders, heavy minds, low energy. It’s a reminder that regular care (in whatever rhythm works for you) really does help you come back to yourself.

Fun Fact: Massage works best when it becomes a gentle routine, not just a once-off.

Things I’m doing as a Remedial Massage Therapist for 2026 so I don’t have to juggle the business side so I can be fully present in the treatment room

This year I’m creating more space to simply be in the treatment room, be fully present, calm, and grounded.

I’m letting go of the extra noise: the admin overload, the pressure to constantly post, and the parts of business that pull me away from what I truly love doing.

When I’m centred, my clients feel it.
The work is deeper, the connection is clearer, and the whole treatment experience is balanced.

2026 is about simplicity, steadiness, and giving the kind of care that actually supports people.
