Hi I am Domenic and I am a passionate remedial massage therapists, I provide remedial massage to address your presenting muscular and joint pain and associated discomfort. Hi for most of you who do not know me my name is Domenic, I have been a massage therapist since 2007 but it's only been my full-time profession since 2017, amazing how time fly's.⁣

In-between those years I was mainly working in our family business located in Luddenham, whilst providing a mobile massage service part time.⁣

My parents, sisters and I have run and managed the family business in luddenham since 1972 and is ongoing at the present. After leaving High school I tried many different fields of study from travel consultant to hairdressing, though I never progressed into any of those fields I value and treasure the skills I have learnt along the way.⁣

My massage career was influenced by one of my sisters who encouraged me to pursue this career after helping her on many occasions to relive her neck and shoulder tension that also seemed to relive those pesky tension headaches she was experiencing.⁣

I have personally experienced amazing results with massage therapy in the past, one time in particular when I was about five, I sprained my ankle and the next morning my father had to carry me as I could not put any weight on my foot, so my father took me to a massage therapist who I had now idea of back then, though miraculously I walked out of his clinic after a single treatment a bit of a miracle or magic hands, I think.⁣

Massage has supported me in many ways from reliving Sciatica, headaches, shoulder pain and managing my stress and anxiety making life so much more manageable.⁣

Through my own personal experiences of receiving regular therapeutic massage treatments over the years, I am so happy to be able to provide my unique approach of massage therapy to you.⁣

Whether you're an office worker, weekend athlete, tradie or stay at home mum/dad book your massage with Domenic today.

As someone who encourages movement and body awareness, it was confronting to be the one managing persistent back pain.

What shifted things wasn’t anything extreme,it was walking. Regularly. Consistently.

It’s improved my pain, but it’s also helped my focus and structure.

Setting time aside.

Sticking to it. Starting again when needed.

Life will always interrupt.

Progress doesn’t require perfection

Just willingness to begin.

You’ve got to start somewhere.

Searching for a place to rest your mind and body?

Here at Aroma Remedial Massage, that’s exactly what this space is designed for.

As we come to the end of February, I keep hearing the same comment: “How fast is time going?”

And it makes me pause. Is time actually moving faster? Or are our lives simply more full than they used to be?

More stimulation.
More distractions.
More noise.

Phones, screens, constant input — we rarely allow ourselves moments of true stillness.

What I’ve come to deeply appreciate is the importance of having a trusted place where you can step away from that. A space where you don’t have to do anything. Where the pace slows. Where your body can unwind while muscular tension is carefully and calmly addressed.

I’m grateful to be able to offer that kind of space.

If you’ve been thinking about booking some time for yourself, I have appointments available in the coming days and weeks.

A gentle reminder to prioritise your own rhythm.

Not all massage is the same.

Over the years, I’ve become very clear on what I will and won’t do in a treatment room. Good care isn’t about ego, pressure, or routines, it’s about listening, adjusting, and working with the body in front of you.

If you value thoughtful, tailored treatment, you’ll probably feel right at home here.

Day 30/30 🙌 Why I Showed Up & What It Reinforced For Me at Aroma Remedial Massage

Thirty days ago I decided to show up consistently and speak about massage, bodywork and the different therapies I offer. Today I’m reflecting on why I did it, and what it reinforced for me as a massagetherapist. Proud to have finished. Grateful for the growth.

Day 28/30 – Thai Foot Reflexology with the Wooden Stick 👣 at Aroma Remedial Massage

For Day 28 of my 30 Lives, I’m sharing a relaxed introduction to traditional Thai foot reflexology, how it begins, what the wooden stick is used for, and why working just the feet can feel surprisingly grounding.

DAY 27/30 – A simple chat about the lymphatic system at Aroma Remedial Massage

Today I’m sharing a simple overview of the lymphatic system, a system in the body that supports immune function and relies on movement to help it flow. Things like walking, breathing and gentle exercise can support it, and in some cases manual lymphatic drainage may also be helpful.

DAY 26/30 – Working with scars: something many people don’t realise can be treated at Aroma Remedial Massage

Today I’m sharing about gentle scar therapy, something I trained in after realising that many clients had surgical scars that we were never formally taught to address during remedial training. Scars from procedures like knee and hip replacements or skin cancer removal can sometimes contribute to restriction or discomfort, and many people don’t realise they can be supported.

A spontaneous selfie 🤳 ✨️

Keep smiling 😃 its contagious ☺️

Many years ago well not that long ago

Somebody shared how a simple smile made their day ☺️

I never thought of it that way that something so natural as a smile could give a human some hope for the day ahead ✨️

DAY 25/30 – A technique I use when the body needs a different approach at Aroma Remedial Massage

Today I’m sharing about a technique I sometimes incorporate into treatments called the Emmett Technique. It’s something I use when the body may need a slightly different approach, and I’ve seen it create some surprisingly quick changes, particularly with lower back, hip and shoulder restrictions.

Day 24 of 30 Facebook Lives
Today I want to talk about communication during a massage especially during remedial work at Aroma Remedial Massage

A good treatment is a conversation, even if most of it is quiet. You don’t have to just lie there and tolerate things. Your feedback matters.
