If feeling guilty and beating yourself up worked, then it would have worked by now.

Beating yourself up for what you ate doesn’t help you be more disciplined next time. It just makes you feel like a failure and set up for more binges and failure next time.

I know…I did it for YEARS! 😩

I wish I knew this before I spent years being frustrated in the gym 😅

Don’t get me wrong, I love the gym but I put majority of my focus and attention there rather than in the kitchen.

It doesn’t make sense when you only spend an hour a day in the gym but many hours outside the gym feeding yourself.

No wonder I was feeling burnt out and wasn’t getting the results I wanted 😅

If you want to healthily lose weight, focus on nourishing your body right AND getting enough sleep and recovery.

You make better decisions when you’re well rested and nourished🤍✨

I haven’t formally introduced myself on here and it felt about time to do that!

Hey Insta fam 👋🏽
I’m Ellisa, the owner and founder of Mind Body Bliss Coaching.

I’ve been in the health, fitness and wellness industry for almost a decade ! 🤯

I came here in my quest to learn how to love and look after my body as a part of my journey of recovering from bulimia and binge eating disorder.

My whole life I felt judged for being a bigger kid. So I started dieting at a really young age. By the time I was a teen, I was secretly spiralling out of control.

Learning about mindset, psychology, how our body works and how to nourish it was the most empowering and healing experience.

Through my healing, even though I had come to a place where I was happy within my body I still wanted to create a physique change. Figuring out how to do that without losing my mind and battling my body again was quite a journey!

I was determined to learn how to create the body that I’d always desired through loving my body rather than punishing it.

I’m really happy and proud to say that I’ve found and continue to build peace, love and respect for myself and my body.

This process has not only improve my physique and confidence but every area of my life to help me become my happiest and healthiest self!

I want to help you do the same.

Trying really hard but not seeing results ?

It’s incredibly frustrating. I spend years spinning my tyres and thinking there was something wrong with me.

Learning about nutrition and improving my relationship with food was the catalyst for losing weight permanently and healthfully!

It gave me a framework to work through and these questions are some of my go to questions when I’m not getting the results I want.

🙅🏻‍♀️beat yourself up

Beating yourself up will only leave you feeling worse. That build up of stress can be enough to trigger another binge !
