NB Mask wearing is mandatory for both practitioner and client as per SA Health's regulations.
Please ensure you bring a mask to your appointments.

COVID 19 update for massage therapists in SA.
Unfortunately I am closed due to SA Health restrictions being implemented midnight tonight Monday 19 July and will be revised this coming Friday 23 July.

😷 From 16 July 2021, masks will be mandatory for people in high risk settings and for people providing personal care services.

High risk settings include:
β–ͺ residential aged care facilities
β–ͺ disability care facilities
β–ͺ prison or correctional facilities
β–ͺ emergency department, intensive care unit, respiratory ward or oncology ward of a private or public hospital.

Personal care services include:
β–ͺ hairdressers
β–ͺ nail salons
β–ͺ tattoo parlours
β–ͺ day spas
β–ͺ other similar businesses.

Some health services may still require you to wear a mask in certain other settings. Please check with the hospital or health service for local requirements.

Masks will also be required in indoor venues with more than 50% of normal occupancy. This includes places of worship, enclosed sporting venues and cinemas, theatres, concert halls or other auditoriums.

There are exceptions to these mandatory requirements, including:
β–ͺ people with relevant medical conditions.
β–ͺ people under the age of 12.
β–ͺ cases where a mask would create communications difficulties in situations where a mask will impact the provision of care.

Unfortunately that time has returned where all clients including myself will be required to wear a mask during treatments as per the most recent SA Health recommendations.

There are concerning outbreaks of COVID-19 occurring in other states and territories across Australia.

To protect South Australians, from 29 June, additional measures are being temporarily introduced to help reduce the spread of the virus.

Update to restrictions include:
β–ͺ 1 person per 2 square metres for all defined public activities and gatherings.
β–ͺ Private gatherings 150 people maximum.
β–ͺ Weddings and funerals at licensed premises can have venue capacity (1 person per 2 square metres).
β–ͺ Weddings and funerals at other venues can have maximum capacity of 150 people.
β–ͺ Seated consumption of food and beverages at all indoor venues.
β–ͺ Seated entertainment like cinemas or live theatre or performance venues can have up 75% capacity if patrons wear masks.
β–ͺ Masks are mandatory in health care setting and personal care services.
β–ͺ Masks recommended on public transport and taxis or rideshare services.
β–ͺ Dancing is not permitted at nightclubs and relevant licensed premises.
β–ͺ Singing is not permitted indoors, unless it is a performance, an education establishment or a private lesson. This does not apply to residential premises.
β–ͺ Onsite purchase and consumption of sh**ha is prohibited.
