Room all set for a beautiful Reiki treatment today. I love the clinical side of my work with limb measurements, compression pumps and garments and my low level laser and deep oscillation therapy but I equally love Reiki and the benefits it provides for clarity, calming the nervous system, relieving stress and anxiety.

Of course.. blending lymphatic drainage with Reiki is my absolute favourite ❤️

Dr. Sandro Michelini delivered a powerful overview of how far the field has come in defining lipedema as a distinct disease. He emphasized that lipedema is not merely a lymphatic issue but a chronic inflammatory fat disorder with hallmark features: disproportionate fat accumulation in the limbs, pain, sensitivity, easy bruising, and orthostatic edema while sparing the hands and feet.

I received a lovely pot plant from a client yesterday as a token of appreciation. It's so thoughtf, l and I'm excited to (try and) keep it living in our garden, and enjoy them longer than a bunch of cut flowers usually last! I love my job and the beautiful clients i get to assist 🌼❤️
