The picture is of diseased Tas Salmon. After seeing a documentary showing the polluted black sludge that Tasmanian salmon live in, I always ask the restaurant "Where does your salmon come from?" and if it is Tasmania I don't want it! But an even bigger issue is that The Aust Institute latest find about "our" Government's deception to protect big business at our expense. "After the Government fought tooth and nail to keep them secret, The Australia Institute has obtained explosive new documents via FOI about salmon farming in Tasmania.
The documents reveal Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek has known for almost 18 months that salmon farming should be comprehensively assessed under national environmental law for its impact on the endangered Maugean skate and Macquarie Harbour’s World Heritage value.
The Australia Institute worked with transparency campaigner and former Senator Rex Patrick, who obtained these documents only after..."

'Australian Tax Office data shows that the three main salmon companies had income of $7 billion over nine years, but paid just $51 million in company tax. Zero tax was paid in the last three years for which data is available.'

You gotta see this!

I’ve been a chiropractor for nearly 30yrs, yet never seen someone’s back and neck flex and twist this far and work this hard for this long!! 197 in just 4 hrs. Watching her effort and determination along with knowing about her intense preparation has brought tears of inspiration several times today. And she’s got 4 more hours to go‼️
